Maeve smiled and licked her lips, taking him in her mouth and quickly getting him hard again in the small rectangular private bathroom. Whereas it had been empty and quiet when they’d walked it, apparently something had let out, and it was now filling with voices coming in.

Ronan smiled as someone knocked on the door, and she never broke stride, expertly getting him rock hard and then bringing him to orgasm. She lapped up and swallowed every drop as he exploded against the back of her throat and let her lick him clean again.

“You really are amazing,” he told her with a wry smile.

The two of them slipped out the door to be met with the faces of strangers who looked at them knowingly, some with smiles and some with disdain. A restroom attendant had appeared and was glaring at them especially hard.

“It’s okay,” Maeve told him. “I cleaned up the mess myself.”

He gasped and Ronan laughed, loving how unashamed she was of her sexuality. Of course, it might be the last time they were allowed in the bathrooms there, but it wasn’t like he came there very often anyway. In fact, this was the only time he’d ever come here. The thought made him laugh again as they exited the building and continued their sight-seeing.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Maeve

New York had been magical. It was like no place Maeve had ever seen, and she’d only gotten a small taste of it during the few days they’d ended up staying there.

Though Ronan had done his best to show her everything he could, she could tell he was a little pre-occupied with what he needed to get done. She appreciated that he was willing to give up some of the time he needed to be focused on other things to making sure she enjoyed her first taste of America. Now, though, it was time to get going and get more serious about sorting out what had happened in Dublin.

On their last night at the Ace, he had let her go down to the lobby alone and just enjoy the music and drinks while he made some calls and tended to the business he’d postponed a bit for her. It had given her time to think about what it was she really wanted in life. She knew she still had a lot to sort out in her head, but he had been right when he’d questioned whether she really wanted to be the leader of Clan Omega.

“Mind if I join you?” a voice asked from behind her.

She turned to find Ronan smiling broadly. She also noted how the women around him were ogling him. She could be jealous or she could just accept that she was here with the best-looking man in the hotel. More importantly, he was looking at her without seeming to even notice attention from anyone else.

“Well, I was waiting on my, um, someone else, but I guess he’s not here. You’ll do, I suppose.”

“Nothing like being second choice,” he teased, pulling out the chair beside her and having a seat.

“Can I buy you a drink?” she asked.

“Sure. Do they take euros here?” he asked.

“No. I’ll just charge it to the room of the guy who didn’t show up.”

“Well, that being the case, I’ll have a double whiskey on the rocks.”

“Be right back,” she told him, making her way up to the bar. She could feel him watching her as she ordered their drinks, even with her back turned away from him. His eyes never left her even as she walked back, taking very deliberate steps in a slow sway toward him.

“Ta,” he told her as she handed him his and sat hers down in front of her chair.

“So, what do we do next?”

“Kick back and relax. I’ve made arrangements for a car to be dropped off in the morning and we’ll drive up to the cabin. It’ll take a few hours to get there.”

“Aye. Cheers then,” she said, holding her glass up toward him.

Ronan clinked his tumbler against her wine glass and parroted her toast before they each took a drink. It was the first of many, leading to a long night of debauchery that a girl could get more than a little used to.

Of course, morning brought a whole new feeling as she woke up achy and hungover, her body paying her back heavily for the night of fun they’d had. She showered while he took care of a few last-minute details on his phone, though he joined her about halfway through, washing her hair and caressing her every curve with his big soapy hands.

“You are a very perfect woman,” he told her as he worked away at getting her clean.

“You’re okay yourself,” she said.

“I should forewarn you about something,” he told her.

“Oh? What’s that?” she asked, turning to take the soap from him and lathering up his chest as she looked up into his face.
