“You shouldn’t be worrying about him, though. It’s you, you should be worried about.” I wink at her and push her back as she turns into a fit of giggles while I climb on top of her. Her legs wrap around my waist instinctively, and she thrusts up to meet me. “You should know better than to play with a man who wants you.” She lifts her hand to my chest, then drags it down between us, over my chest until she reaches where I’m situated near her sweet pussy.

“I don’t intend to play. I plan for you to fuck me right now.”

I lean down, going to bite her lips. She pauses, waiting for me to do so, and before I touch her, I slam into her. Her eyes close from the contact, and she arches her head back, screaming out in pleasure.

When she’s comfortable she looks at me. “I love you, Darby.” She says it with such conviction that I know she is it for me. I know this woman will be my forever.

Her hips start to move, and she grips onto me hard. We take a ride on this train that we’re never getting off. I know there will be ups and downs. We still haven’t figured everything out, but I hope we will, and given time, I know we will.

She brings me down to her so our bodies are together and grips me to her so tight we have no room to move. “My answer is yes,” she whispers to my lips. “Yes, I will move in with you. I want this life with you. All of it.”

I claim her, all fucking day, and don’t leave the bed to go to work.

Charles wakes and we lay there, watch movies and eat shitty food.

It’s the perfect fucking life I never wanted or dreamed of, but I’m glad I’ve got it.

Epilogue

Darby

The white dress is perfect. Her hands squeeze and bunch the sides of it as we all watch her. We’re in a private function area where everything is white, and I don’t just mean bits and pieces. The floor is white and it’s almost like walking on clouds, the walls are white, the ceiling is white, even the lights are white. The only splashes of color in this room right now are the people who are all sitting as they watch.

“You may now kiss the bride.”

Cheers are heard everywhere. There’s yelling and screaming so loud I almost miss the chuckle which leaves Ariel’s mouth as Falcon says something dirty before he leans over and kisses her lips. It’s been one year since the day Olympia moved in with me, and what a year it’s been. Charles runs from my hand from where I stand next to Falcon, and runs straight to him, buckling his legs and breaking his kiss from Ariel. The minute she sees him, she picks him up and kisses his cheek.

“You can’t have her, you know, she’s mine.”

Everyone laughs, even Ariel in her white dress. I never thought I’d see the day—it suits him, she suits him.

“Mine,” Charles says gripping onto Ariel.

I watch as Olympia gets up, trying to cover her smile as she reaches for him. “Come on, my boy.”

Charles looks to Ariel, and he reluctantly goes to Olympia, then she sits him on her big belly. So it seems my sperm has very strong swimmers. So good, in fact, that she’s pregnant with twins. She’s due in two weeks. Tomorrow she’s to go in to see if they should induce her early. And Charles, well, Charles thinks of Olympia as his mother. He doesn’t know any different apart from the photographs we keep on his nightstand, and when I listen to Olympia tell him about Cleo. They have a bond that I’m proud of.

Olympia winks at me, and I step away to help her. She sits back down with Charles and whispers in his ear, making him place his head on her shoulder. I know the move and know she’s about to sing to him. I don’t know how I’m going to do when she has our sons because she sings to him every night. It’s his bedtime routine.

Ariel and Falcon walk off, and everyone goes to follow them apart from us. Echo stands next to me and Creed next to him. Our women at the front watching us, and I wonder how four fucked-up guys got so fucking lucky to have found our perfect soulmates.

We don’t deserve it, but I won’t say no to it either.

My father taps me on my shoulder, and Ma kisses each of the boys and me before they reach for Charles. Creed’s daughter is glued to him as she’s a straight-up daddy’s girl.

Olympia stands.

Water gushes out.

Everyone freezes.

Charles claps his hands excitedly. “Waterslide.”

“It’s time,” I say reaching for Olympia.

She nods her head. “Tell me you will love me until you can’t,” she asks clenching my hand.
