I heard West next. “Oh shit! What the hell is going on this morning?!”

Pandora finally let go of my hair which gave me better aim. I pounded into her face. Huge hands grabbed at my waist, trying to drag me back.

“Hell no!” I gripped Pandora’s hair to stay close and slammed my fist into her forehead. “Fuck that! I’m not done! I’m not done!”

Griff grabbed Pandora, trying to yank her from me.

West struggled with pulling me back. “Cain, get up here!”

I jabbed Pandora in her titty, grabbed the left one and tried to tear it off.

She screamed and kicked at me. “Get her away from me!”

My shirt tore.

“Get off me!” I shoved at West as he dragged me away from her. “Stop it.”

Due to West, Pandora finally broke free and crawled over to Griff. He held Pandora’s face in his hands as if making sure she was okay.

West yanked me several feet back.

“Let me go!” I shoved at him.

West helped me up. “Not until you calm down.”

“I’m calm!” I stood. It was in that moment that I realized that I no longer wore atowel. It lay on the ground. Scratches covered my stomach and the top of my breasts. I hadn’t even realized she’d got me in those places.

At least I still wore a bra.

West gazed at me as if I were insane. “Are you calm now?”

“Yes.” I raised my hands and panted. “I’m cool.”

“You’re cool?”

I caught my breath. “I’m fucking cool, West.”

He let me go. “Okay.”

I rubbed my face with both hands. “Thank you.”

West backed up. “No problem.”

“I’m good.”

He leaned against the wall. “You sure?”

“Definitely.” I darted around him and raced toward Pandora. “Come here, bitch!”

“Fuck!” West raced after me.

“She’s crazy!” Pandora spotted me coming, jumped up, and ran down the hallway.

“Naw, bitch.” I increased my pace. “Let’s talk about how black I am.”

Griff blocked me in the hallway. “Calm down!”

Pandora rushed into the room and slammed the door. The lock clicked.

“Move.” I pushed at him. “This is between her and me.”

“I can’t let you go in there, Phoenix.”

“Griff, it’s just a little straightening between women.”

Frowning, he refused to move. “Calm down!”

“Let that bitch out the room, Griff!”

“I’m not doing that, Phoenix.”

“I’ll give you anything in this world.” I paced in front of him. “All the donuts!”

West jogged up to me. “Damn. You’re fast.”

“I’ve got Phoenix.” Cain appeared in the hallway, taking up all the space as usual.

I backed up from Griff. I had to admit I was a little embarrassed. There was no way my ponytail was intact. But I still couldn’t calm down.

Walking over, Cain held plates in his hand. “What happened?”

“First you attack Pandora, now Phoenix does.” Griff stormed off. “What is wrong with you two?”

“No.” I held one finger in the air. “The question is what is wrong with that bitch.”

Griff called over his shoulder. “Stay away from her!”

“Tell that bitch to stay away from me!” I yelled back. “And tell her just like that. Make sure she knows I said bitch. Don’t leave that part out!”

Griff got to his door and knocked. “It’s me, Pandora. Let me in. She’s not here.”

The door opened.

I screamed. “Bitch!”

West had both hands on his forehead as he walked by us. “Am I the only sane person in this house!?”

Panting, I gazed up at Cain.

His expression shocked me. A huge smile was on his face. “You got her good?”

For some reason, I still felt like a disobedient child. “Yeah.”

“Yeah?” Cain gestured for us to walk off. “You punch her?”

I turned around and headed to our bedroom. “Lots of punching.”

“I wish I’d seen it.” He shook his head. “Are you hungry?”

I touched the top of my hair realizing all types of strands were sticking up. “Yeah. I’m starving.”

“Worked up an appetite from beating her ass?” Cain laughed.

I tried not to smirk, but it showed up on my face. “Yeah.”

“Then, I’m glad I didn’t kill her this morning. Not just because of cleaning up blood, but I enjoyed seeing the terror on her face.”

I widened my eyes. “What?”

“Let’s eat.” Shrugging, Cain entered the bedroom with the food.

He wanted to kill her? Yikes.

I followed him inside. Every time I forget he’s psychotic. . .his ass reminds me.

e ate on the bed. Cain had fixed a feast—eggs and toast, sausage and peppers, bowls of fruit and golden hashbrowns.

He swallowed food down and wiped his mouth with a napkin. “How did you sleep?”

“Peacefully.” I forked up some eggs. “And super comfortable.”

“Does that happen a lot?”

“No. It could be the bed.” I held the fork in mid-air and glanced down at the bed. “I think it’s made from angels’ wings and tears from God.”

He chuckled. “What did you dream about?”

“Why?” I tossed the eggs in my mouth.

“You were moaning a few times.”

I cleared my throat. “And how did you sleep?”

“Pretty decently. Then, I heard you moaning and watched you sleep.” Lust filled his eyes. “What did you dream about?”
