“Pleasure is a very important part of adult life,” she continues in a serious tone, “and I know that gay men sometimes use dildos and butt plugs on themselves and that’s totally fine. I’m very sex-positive, and everyone has physical needs. If anything, I want you to express yourself, Dad. Again, this is totally okay.”
I start to speak but once again, Faith is quick to jump in with a more detailed explanation of her feelings on the subject, although I’m not sure I want to hear it.
“As much as I find it kind of gross, I do believe that everyone needs a sex life otherwise they’ll go completely bonkers. And why not you? I always assumed you were hooking up with floozies during your international trips, but I always assumed the floozies were female. Never in my life did I imagine you were dating rent boys, but hey, that’s okay. I accept you for you, Dad. You just be you, and don’t listen to anyone else.”
I gawk at her. This is getting out of control, and if “rent boy” is what I think it is, then my daughter is completely wrong.
“Faith, honey, you’re misunderstanding –”
But my daughter cuts me off once more.
“Again, you haven’t had a significant other for ages now. At least, no one serious that you’ve brought home to meet me. And you can be honest, Daddy: is that because you’ve been secretly dating men? You know that’s nothing to be ashamed about.”
“Faith, I…”
“I don’t want you to think you have to live in the closet, Dad! You can tell me anything, and I’ll love you no matter what. Something like this doesn’t even matter because I’m attracted to men myself, so I understand how a hot and handsome guy can totally be “it.” If that’s what floats your boat, then I support you, Marcus, one hundred percent. It’s completely fine.”
I can’t help but laugh at this point because she’s completely wrong about everything. Faith looks at me like I’m crazy and frowns.
“What? Don’t feel like you have to hide Daddy. Is this a coping mechanism? I get if you’re not ready to come out to the world, but you should at least tell me the truth. I won’t judge you.”
I swipe at my eyes. I’m laughing so hard now that tears are practically rolling down my cheeks and my stomach aches from the convulsions.
Faith pins me with another frown. “This isn’t funny, Daddy. This is your sexuality we’re talking about. You’re old, but I understand that even old people need to get off on occasion.”
Finally, I hold up a hand while gasping for air.
“No, no, stop. Faith, I’m fine, honey. I don’t mean to laugh at you because you concern is very sweet, but honey, I’m not gay.”
My daughter frowns.
“There’s no need to lie, Dad. I’m an ally, and very supportive of the LGBTQ movement. In fact, I want to visit the Stonewall Inn when I finally get around to visiting New York.”
I shake my head, still gasping a bit for air.
“Sweetheart, I love you, but can you try to listen to me for five seconds? Just five seconds? Please.”
She presses her lips together and looks at me hard.
“Okay, but no lying. Again, if you’re interested in men, that’s totally okay.”
I shake my head as the sound of a car pulling in our driveway rings in my ears.
“Faith, no. I’m not gay. If you’ll just give me a chance to explain. By the way, didn’t you have a shift to get to at the diner?”
My daughter frowns.
“They moved my schedule back, so I don’t have to go in until later. That’s why I was looking for my racket.”
But it’s too late now. I stroll to the front door, my daughter trailing in my wake. Then, I open it and Bella practically falls into my arms. The curvy girl is wearing a low-cut v-neck top, and as she glues her lips to mine, she takes one of my hands and slips it into her décolletage so that I’m cupping a big breast. Then, her tit comes bouncing out, and she lets out a delighted giggle.
“Ready to suck, big boy? I know I’m ready to be sucked.”
At that, a horrified gasp rings out behind us. Bella looks up, startled.
“Faith?” she asks, dumbfounded. “What are you doing here? I thought you had a shift tonight!”
The two girls stare at each other in frozen shock, and my world blows up even more.

Oh my God, what have I walked into? What have I done? My breast is out, my pink nipple stiff even as Marcus pinches it playfully once more.
“Come on in,” he chuckles, not at all embarrassed. “Girls, you already know one another.”
Meanwhile, I tuck myself back in quickly, my face red with shame. Yes, Faith and I are best friends, but I’m sure she didn’t expect to see me do that with her dad!
