“I’m pretty sure kissing does not create children. Maybe you should retake sex-education.” My hands slide down to Sienna’s shoulders once she has her feet on the ground. She lets out a low giggle, probably thinking about how much sex we’ve been having and what I’m doing in order to see her pregnant with our child.

“Semantics. Gonna grab my boy. Thanks for watching Case.” Ry tips his head.

“Never a problem. He’s picking up his toys, and I’m making popcorn. Is it okay if he takes a bag with him?” Sienna asks, recovering fast from our moment together.

“Sure thing. He’s already going to lose his mind when we have to leave.” I nod, looking from Ry to Sienna. She’s quietly asking why.

“He hates goodbyes,” I clue her in.

“Oh well, he’s welcome to come back whenever. He’s a blast to be around.” Sienna just opened up a can of worms. Ryland may not like to be away from Case, but when he is, he’ll only let him stay with people who love and care for him. He remains quiet and puts his hands in his pockets.

“I’m sure he’ll be asking tomorrow.” I swing my head to Ryland, letting him know he’ll have to use another brother. The twitch of his lips tells me I’ve been played. “Might not be this week, though.”

“Sounds good to me.” Sienna turns back toward the counter, pulls out a plastic container, and throws chocolate candies inside. I’ve got no idea what she is doing, but I’m not going to question it.

“You good in here?” I ask.

“Of course.”

“Alright, the faster they’re out of here, the faster I’m going to take you to bed.” Her body shivers as I drop my head into the crook of her neck and shoulder, my tongue sliding along her skin.

“Hurry,” is the word she says, and I’m going to do exactly that. When your woman gets off on kissing alone, it’s time to rally up the troops and get them out of here.

I head into the living room and find Ryland sitting on his haunches, talking to Case, who is visibly upset. Damn, whenever my nephew brings on the crocodile tears, it always makes my gut twist in knots.

“It’s not goodbye, bubs. You’re going to see Uncle Trey tomorrow.” Ry speaks softly, drying his tears with his thumbs.

“But Si Si?” Case asks. It’s time for me to step in and help relieve the big emotions he’s feeling right about now.

“Sienna isn’t going anywhere, Case. Anytime you want to see her, all you gotta do is let someone know, okay?” His head bobs up and down, like one of those figurines move when they’ve got a light shining on them.

“Kay.” He wraps his arms around his daddy’s neck, and Ry doesn’t miss a beat, picking him up off the ground.

“You want me to drop the toys back at your house for you?” Ryland asks once he’s standing, Case still wrapped around him like an octopus. I bet he’s out the minute they’re driving down the road. He played hard today, and it’s later than his usual bedtime.

“Nah, they can stay. I’ve got a feeling he’ll be back this week.”

“You sure?” All of us brothers have a basketful of toys at our houses. There’s a good mix of different items now that more kids are being added to the bunch, plus Mom is always at a thrift store, garage sale, or hunting down a deal whenever she can.

“Yep, staying here for the time being. Figure Case might be back.” Ry nods. “Hey, Case, you want to go see what Si Si has for you to take home?” My nephew whips his head around. Gone are the tears. The only reminder of him being upset is a blotchy face and red eyes.

“Puh-puh-pease.” Ry breathes a sigh of relief. Fuck, my brother hates when his son is upset. We head back to Sienna. My eyes lock on hers. She’s got a container filled to the brim with popcorn and candy in the mix.

I give her a nod letting her know shit is good and they’re ready to head out.

“Thanks again. The help is appreciated,” Ryland says.

“I don’t know why you’re thanking me. Love having him,” I state.

“He’s always welcome here. Can I get a hug before you head out?” she asks Case.

“Yes.” His 's' at the end carries on. He leaps from Ry’s arms into Sienna’s, and the two of them talk for a minute.

“Better lock that down,” my brother mutters quietly.

“Not letting her go again.” When Sienna and Case are done with their goodbyes, he moves from her to me, only this time, our interaction is less than ten seconds. My nephew is infatuated with my woman, and she’s getting all his attention. Can’t blame him.

We all walk out the front door, finish off our goodbyes for the second time, and when Ryland drives away, Sienna drops a damn bomb on me.
