Devoured.

I could feel it pouring off him in hot, suffocating waves while he sat in the penalty box, his gaze pinned to mine.

He spins me around before forcing me back until my spine is pressed against the smooth tile. His hands rise, the palms settling against the sides of my head as if to hold me in place.

His gaze searches mine. “Are you on the pill?”

“Yes.”

He releases a steady breath as an internal debate is waged within him.

“I’ve never fucked a girl without a condom, but I don’t want anything coming between us when I take you. Are you good with that?”

Air leaks from my lungs as his words somersault in my head. If I’m smart, I’ll shoot down that idea. Like him, it’s not something I’ve ever done either. My mantra has always been no glove, no love.

Maybe I’m foolish for trusting him, but I don’t think he’d do anything to put either one of us at risk.

“Yes.”

The rigid set of his shoulders loosens. “Good. I want you bare. I want to feel your soft pussy wrapped around me.”

That’s the only warning I’m given before he slides deep inside my body with one swift movement. A gasp escapes from me before ending on a drawn-out moan that echoes off the walls.

“Fuck,” he growls.

With every piston of his hips, pleasure reverberates throughout my entire being. It sparks to life deep in my core before resonating outward to the very tips of my fingers and toes as he holds my head firmly in place.

When my eyelids feather closed, he growls, “Open them. I want you to watch as I fuck you so you know exactly who’s getting you off.”

As if I could ever doubt it.

His gaze stays pinned to mine as he fucks me against the wall. Water pours from the shower head, misting us as the thick humidity wraps around us, cocooning us in warmth. It doesn’t take long before I’m falling apart, splintering into a million jagged pieces that will never be put back together again.

He quickly follows me over the edge. His cock jerks as warmth floods my womb. The feel of his hard flesh throbbing inside me with nothing to stand between us is unbearably intimate.

His breathing is harsh as he rests his forehead against mine and stares into my eyes. “I didn’t like seeing you with that guy.”

Honestly, I’d forgotten all about Sawyer and the Kiss Cam.

“It didn’t mean anything.”

“I don’t care. I didn’t like it. I didn’t like him parked next to you during my game and I sure as shit didn’t like watching him take your mouth.”

When I remain silent, his palms tighten around the sides of my head before tipping my face upward so that there’s no other choice but to meet his eyes. “I don’t want anyone else touching you, Juliette. Period.”

Warmth ignites in my chest before spreading outward. “Are we setting conditions? Is that what we’re doing now? Because I don’t want anyone else touching you either.”

“Done.” Tension ebbs from his voice and body as he presses his lips to mine. “Let’s get out of here. One time wasn’t nearly enough.”

The man hasn’t even pulled out of my body and he’s already talking about sliding back inside.

“McAdams, you still here?” a deep voice calls out, echoing off the tile.

I freeze as my eyes widen at the gruff male voice that comes from somewhere within the locker room.

Ryder’s lips lift into a smirk as his gaze stays fastened to mine. “Yup. Still in the shower.”

“All right. Hit the lights on your way out.”

“Will do, Coach.”

Footsteps fade before a door in the outer area closes.

“Guess you can cross sex in a public place off your list.”

“I suppose so,” I say with a smile before pressing my lips against his.

CHAPTER 28

RYDER

Everyone grabs their empty trays from the table. Just as Bridger swings around, his gaze gets snagged by something. The easygoing expression he’d been wearing throughout lunch vanishes as a fierce look flares to life in his eyes. I glance over my shoulder at the chick who’s glaring just as intensely at him.

Huh.

Well, that’s interesting.

Normally, Bridger has the opposite effect on the ladies. That thought is only reconfirmed when she lifts her hand and flips him off before stalking away.

I glance back at him with a raised brow. “Let me guess, that’s your number one fan?”

He snorts. “Sure looks that way.”

“What happened? You take her to bone town, and she was less than impressed with the ride?”

His upper lip curls. “Something like that.”

“Don’t most of the girls you screw feel that way? I’m sure there’s enough of them to start a club or, at the very least, a support group.” I jerk my head toward the chick who has disappeared through the crowded Union. “That one can be the president.”

“Hey, I have an idea—why don’t you fuck off.”
