“You mean sexually?”

“Yes.”

I frown, and he begins to sway to the music again. “You said that you didn’t want to sleep with me because you didn’t want to be one of many,” he tells me casually, as if he’s making complete sense. Has he been cooking this up in his head all day?

“That’s true, but—”

“But what? If you’re the only woman I’m sleeping with then there isn’t a problem.”

“But if we are sleeping together, it complicates everything. How will we end it when the time comes?”

“We’ll have an adult conversation.”

“Just like that?” I remember how heart wrenching my breakup conversation with Simon was. I never want to go through that again.

“We both know what this is. There are no expectations on either side. We are too different for it to be anything other than a short-term fling.”

I bite my bottom lip as I look at him. Could this really work?

He kisses me softly and I smile against his lips. “So, are you dancing with me right now so you can talk me into casually fucking you?” I ask.

“That’s right.” He chuckles. “How am I doing?”

I giggle. “You’re an idiot.” He spins me around and his lips meet mine again.

“Don’t tell me that you don’t want me. I know you do. Wouldn’t you rather have this conversation now than later?”

“Yes, I guess.”

“We’re both consenting adults.” He kisses me. “We want each other.” He kisses me again. “What’s the problem?”

I smile against his lips. “My morals.”

He kisses me and grabs my behind. “As the operations manager, I am giving Miss Morals two weeks’ notice.”

I giggle again.

“She doesn’t belong here working in our company. She’s too opinionated and lazy.”

I laugh as he spins me around again.

“Brock,” I whisper as I run my hand up his thick neck and through his hair.

“Yes, Pocket?” He smiles down at me, and somehow this feels special between us.

“I should probably tell you that this song is now our song.” My eyes linger on his as we sway to the music.

He gives me a slow, sexy smile, raising his eyebrow in question. “Is this more of the romantic bullshit you keep going on about?”

I smile goofily and nod. “Yep. So, when I ask you what our song is, what will you say?”

“’You Shook Me All Night Long’ by ACDC,” he offers seriously.

“Yeah, we need to work on that.”

He chuckles and spins me around. “Ready to shake you any time you want, baby.”

I lick the salt off the rim of my glass, my eyes holding his.

It’s 11:00 p.m. now, and Brock and I still haven’t been home yet. It’s been a good day. The best.

We’ve been making out like teenagers for hours. He’s been kissing me like his life depends on it, and after our talk earlier on the dance floor about him not seeing anyone else, I’m so fucking turned on it’s a wonder I’m not sliding off my chair.

In the water, on the towel, right here at the bar—he’s all over me.

He doesn’t give a damn who’s around or what they will think, and it’s so hot.

I’ve never been with a man like Brock. He honestly just does what he wants, when he wants.

His dark eyes hold mine. “You keep licking that salt like that and I’ll put you under the table to suck my cock.”

God.

With every drink he has, he loses another inhibition, to the point where he has no filter on at all anymore. And it’s holy hot.

“A man can only watch you lap something up for so long without reaching his breaking point.”

I smile as my arousal begins to hum.

I’d planned on being a good girl, on not sleeping with him again. But his promise of fidelity and sexual training has opened up an opportunity I know I want to take…

In my mouth.

I sip my drink, and then I lean in and kiss him, my tongue rimming his mouth. He grabs my hand and presses it down on his crotch. His erect cock has been throbbing all day.

“We need to go home now,” I mumble against his lips.

His eyes are alight with arousal, and he stands immediately. “Skull your drink.”

I smile, drain my glass, and before I know it, he is pulling me by the hand towards the cab rank.

Half an hour later, his lips are on mine, his hands are up my dress, and we are bursting through my apartment door like a pair of crazy people.

“Fucking hell,” he pants against my lips. “I’ve never been so fucking turned on in my whole life.”

I giggle as a thrill runs through me. I know I’m probably the most inexperienced girl he has ever slept with, but damn it, I’m going to make sure I’m the best.

He drags me into my bedroom and then falls still as he stares at me. He looks like he’s trying to calm himself down, rein himself in. My heart begins to flutter.
