“I can feel it,” he said a few moments later.

“What?” My head was still filled with fog.

“Your cum dripping out of my ass. It’s fucking incredible.”

“Show me.”

He turned over and got onto his hands and knees.

I pulled his cheeks apart and groaned at the sight of his hole, slick with my cum. Shiny trails of it ran down his thighs. My cock twitched. I knew I wasn’t ready to go again, but I wished I was.

I slid a finger through the cum on his thigh, then toyed with his hole. “Turn over.”

He looked up at me, eyes wide. I brought my wet finger to his mouth. “Suck.” He obeyed instantly. “Such a good boy.”

He nodded.

When he’d laved my finger thoroughly, I pulled it from his mouth and let my gaze run over his body. I saw the marks my fingers had left on his wrists and his hips. He was sweaty, and he looked thoroughly used. He was the hottest thing I’d ever seen. I wanted to keep him looking just like this the whole time we were here. What the fuck was I going to do?

“Your boss doesn’t have to know.” His words were so soft I questioned if I’d imagined them.

“I won’t tell.”

Even if he didn’t, I was sure X would know somehow. The man was fucking scary. He had ways of finding out everything.

“This can’t happen again.” I hated the look of disappointment on his face.

“You said it couldn’t happen at all.”

“I… The nightmares fuck me up, and I just needed… I shouldn’t have.” I turned to go, but he grabbed my arm.

“I wanted it. You wanted it. I’m not always going to be your client.”

But you’re always going to be my boss’s son. “It’s not just that. It’s…”

“What? I’m annoying? I talk too much? I’m too flashy, too high maintenance?”

“Yes, all of that.” If I pissed him off, maybe he’d tell me to go away.

“And yet you were desperate for me.”

“I was.”

He smiled, and I knew right then there was absolutely no way I could keep my hands off him if I stayed here.

“I’m going to go sleep in a chair. As soon as it’s daylight, I’ll call my boss and try again to get someone else out here to protect you.”

Lane didn’t just look disappointed then, he looked hurt. I hated myself for doing that to him after he’d given himself to me so freely. I wanted to pull him into my arms and comfort him. I wanted to tell him he was mine and I would protect him. Instead, I walked away.

Lane

After Giorgio left the bedroom, I lay staring at the ceiling as his cum dried on me. Tears stung my eyes. I fought them, refusing to cry over a man who’d told me there wouldn’t be anything else between us.

I made myself get up and shower to wash Giorgio’s scent off me. If only it were that easy to rid myself of him. He’d gotten inside me in more ways than one. I wasn’t going to stop wanting him, not even when he was an asshole.

I might not be the type of man he expected to be attracted to, but he wanted me. I understood it was against the rules, and he didn’t want to put his job at risk, but no one was going to know, not when we were in a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

The thing that really pissed me off was that he’d initiated it. I’d only intended to help him get to sleep.

You knew touching him was playing with fire, and you wanted to get burned.

I had, but if he’d told me no, I would’ve turned over and left him alone. I wouldn’t have pushed him when he was vulnerable like that.

He’d looked so scared when he’d first woken up. I’d truly wanted to comfort him.

What had he dreamed about? Something that had gone wrong on an assignment or something that happened before he was a bodyguard—or whatever the hell he really was? I had no doubt he’d put himself in danger again and again. Otherwise he wouldn’t be able to brag that he never missed a shot.

Whatever it had been, I wasn’t likely to find out.

I doubted I’d sleep anymore. In the morning, once there was enough light in this sad excuse for a cabin, I was going to work on my art and fucking ignore Giorgio until he left.

Like I could really do that.

I slept fitfully for the rest of the night, finally falling into a restless sleep near dawn. When I woke again, the sun was shining brightly in my window. I was disoriented at first, thinking I was in my apartment in town.

Then I remembered the events of the day before. If I hadn’t already recalled what had happened after Giorgio’s nightmare, I sure as hell would have known when I sat up. My ass was going to feel it all day. A part of me I didn’t like very much right at the moment relished that.
