“Yes, because my sexy woman will be gone all day,” I grumbled.

“I’m only there until one. I’ve been put on an easy schedule even though I’m not far along.”

I rubbed my little man in her almost completely flat belly. “Do you want me to drive you in?”

“No. I’m still feeling good enough to drive the five minutes away.”

“Okay. Call or text me when you get into the office. I’ll walk that way and meet you. We can go eat out, then we’ll come home, and I’ll eat you out again.”

“Mr. Martinez, I love you.”

“I live for you, my love.” I crushed my mouth to hers before she hurried back to the shower to wash up. I didn’t want her to get a rash.

Once we said our goodbyes, I stripped down out of my uniform and passed out on the bed. My alarm was set to wake up at noon so that I had enough time to shower and walk over to the clinic.

Sleep came easy after the long night I had, so when my alarm had me jumping out of the bed, I felt like I’d slept through the whole day.

I made it down to the clinic with a few minutes to spare, thankfully. Well, at least for me. The fucker ogling my pregnant wife wasn’t going to be so fortunate. I’d worn my patch over a black tee and jeans with a pair of leather boots. It was a wedding present from The Riders to both of us.

I loved when she’d wear her cut. Property of Ghost. It turned me on every damn time to see her sophisticated ass still dressed in her pencil skirt, heels, and button-down top with her hair in a bun and her cut on her. Seeing this bastard made me think she should wear it all the fucking time.

“Do you have a fucking problem?” I asked in a low grunt so no one else could hear me.

He spun around, and I nearly lost my shit. “What the fuck are you doing here?”

“I’m here to talk to my girl. She’s being stubborn,” he bit out in anger.

“Your girl?”

“Yeah, Dr. Grace Holden.”

“Get the fuck out before I rip your heart from your chest and make you eat it.”

“What the hell is your problem? Take a hike before I make you.” The ex-boyfriend got in my face.

“Get the fuck out of my face before I kill you.”

“Okay.” He stepped back, looking like he was going to give up, but I wasn’t born yesterday. He swung at me, missing, and then I was on him, dropping him in one shot.

“Oh my God, Rick. What are you doing? Wait…Is that David?”

“Yep. He’s going to jail right now for assaulting an officer.”

“I didn’t know you were a cop,” he snapped out. “Baby, tell this fucker to drop the charges.” I bent down and slammed his head on the ground.

“How about stalking charges? You’re following my wife, add on an assault on me, and being an all-around piece of shit.”

“You married this guy?” he roared. I didn’t like the look in his eyes. He snorted something before coming here.

“Grace, love. What the fuck did you ever see in this pussy?” I snarled. The receptionist had called the sheriff, and Law walked into the clinic.

“What do we have here?”

“This is Grace’s ex, looking for trouble,” I gritted out. Stringing this fucker up by his balls came to mind. He wanted my wife. If I didn’t hate the son of bitch before, I sure as fuck did now.

“How the fuck did you know she worked here? Stalking?” Law asked, pulling out some cuffs. “Please tell me you let this fucker swing first.” He gave me a frown.

“Of course I did.” I walked past them and to my woman, sliding my arm around her waist, bringing her to me and letting her feel what I had for her and only her. “Babe, are you ready?”

“I need five more minutes,” she moaned as I attacked her neck.

“Anything for you,” I reminded her, taking her mouth in a deep kiss. After I let her go, I had to stop her from falling down because she became breathless. Fuck, yes. That was what I did to her. This pussy couldn’t even keep her.

“Please don’t beat anyone else up.” She wagged her finger before walking toward the back.

“I’ll try to behave.”

Law held David in cuffs as he waited for me. “I’ll file the report.”

“Go ahead, and if he comes back…next time I won’t let him leave.” Law nodded and then dragged that son of a bitch out.

I couldn’t believe the bastard had the nerve to track her down as if she’d take him back.

She waved at the receptionist as we moved to the door. “Has he tried to contact you?” I asked her as she slipped her bag over her shoulder. I stuck out my hand, and she slid it back off and handed it to me.
