“Uh-huh, don’t worry about it I’ll take care of it. Thanks Lucille.” I hung up the phone with my old nanny and sat for a minute thinking about my next move.

I was keeping tabs on the widow. Why? Because what she was about to do was gonna cause my wife stress. That’s a no-no. I don’t have time for that shit. I have my life pretty well organized according to my wants and needs. My marriage is just the way I like it.

I fuck my wife almost as often as I look at her and she never has a headache. My home is clean and put together, and my dinner is on the table when I get home in the evenings. Holly had even had someone come into the home and teach her that gourmet shit, anything to make my life blissful.

If this little blonde twit thinks she was gonna come in and fuck up my shit, she’s deluded. I know there can be only one reason for her trying to get close to my baby; the two of them were like oil and water.

I’ve rebuffed her every advance and now that I no longer had any business dealings with her, she was trying to find a way to finagle her way into our lives by using this pseudo friendship with Holly to get in good with us.

I can’t tell my wife this shit because it’ll fuck with her head since she’s already convinced that I could do better than her. I blame her parents for that shit but that’s another story. I know for a fact though, that if I ever have a daughter she’s going to know that her daddy loves her more than anything.

She’s not going to need anyone on the outside to build her up because that will be my job every step of the way. That’s another reason I won’t burden my baby with this slag’s bullshit, we’re trying to get pregnant and she doesn’t need the stress.

Each month when her period comes I see the look of hurt on her face and I have a hell of a time convincing her that the problem could just as well be me. Of course she doesn’t buy it because she thinks I’m perfect, which is fine. I just wish she knew how perfect she is herself.

I stepped out of the car with Lucille’s words in my head. She’s up to something. Well we know that. That’s why when she went after my old nanny slash housekeeper who’s been retired for the past three years I encouraged her to take the job.

I didn’t even have to give Lucille the whole story, just the bare bones and she was on board. She doesn’t like anyone messing with her boy and she especially dislikes cheaters.

She gives me a heads up whenever she thinks something is in the wind and all she wants is to take care of my baby when he or she comes. Like I’d have anyone else watch over my kid when me, or my wife aren’t there.

Lucille was more than a nanny she’s my second mother. Even after she retired she’s been to every holiday gathering, my wedding and anything of importance to us.

Of course her and mom are thick as thieves, which can sometimes be a problem, especially when they set their sights on me for some reason or the other. They’ve since added my wife to their little clique and my life ain’t worth shit if I should cross one or the other of them. Then I get it from all three.

Holly is always most fierce in the defense of others. If you mess with someone she loves her little face will pucker up and turn red as a tomato. Then she’d stomp her feet and fold her fists and damn if she isn’t the cutest damn thing when her dander’s up.

We can never really fight because no matter how mad I am when she starts her mess I start laughing and then we end up in bed because she’s just too damn adorable. By the time I’m done emptying my balls inside her the fight’s been long forgotten and we’re good again.

I’ve been able to keep Donna away from Holly these last few weeks since I cut off all communication, but it looks like she’s found a way. Lisa is a good friend to Holly. They were in a sorority together back in college and seem to be the only two to make it out with any brain cells left.

I find it hard to imagine my baby in that setting, but Lisa has assured me that nothing has changed. My Holly only joined the sorority because her aunt had been part of it and it was some kind of family tradition.

That had made me feel better! I was in a fraternity, I know what the hell we got up to and can’t imagine my baby ever doing half the shit the girls in the sororities were into.
