I looked down at him to see him gazing up at me.

He didn’t answer, but he didn’t have to.

His eyes said it all.

He was waking me up with his mouth because we had things to do, and with all the business of the last few days—we’d had to cancel our show in the next town to deal with the fallout here, leaving us some time to sleep in and do what we wanted.

Today was our last day here, and that meant packing up and then driving to our next location.

It also meant saying goodbye to old friends—Banner, Crew, Callister, Duke, Granger, Everett, Autry, Trig, Whittaker, and Noble—and new—Titus and Slone.

We were doing that by having a huge breakfast before we finished packing up, and none other than the man between my thighs was the star of the cooking show.

Meaning he really needed to get up.

But my God, the man had a great mouth.

“You should really,” I panted through my next breaths when he finally made a misstep and touched my clit with the edge of his tongue. “Coffey, please.”

He chuckled. “Please what?”

“Please,” I repeated, not quite sure what I was asking.

I wanted him to stop and crawl up my body so his cock would be in the right location to sheathe itself inside of me. I also wanted him to finish what he started down between my legs, finishing me up with his tongue first before he really got down to business.

He must’ve sensed my indecision because he laughed as he crawled his way up my body.

“I was just down there getting my breakfast,” he teased. “But breakfast won’t cook itself, and you took an incredibly long time to wake up today.”

I groaned and caught his face between my hands, then planted a kiss right on his mouth.

He tasted like me, and suddenly, I couldn’t get enough of him.

I tried to roll him over, but he used his considerable strength to force me to stay in place.

With his hands on my hips to keep me steady, he slowly eased his way inside of me.

I groaned into his mouth, unable to stop the way he sent chills running up and down the length of my body thanks to his entry.

The man was big.

And now that stuff was all swollen and excited down there due to my pregnancy—goddamn, I was having twins—things were even more sensitive.

Needless to say, the way he filled me was enough to cause things to start to finally get to work down there. All the teasing he’d done earlier with his tongue was a prelude to what he was giving me now.

Even though he held still inside of me, the length and girth of him planted deep was enough to cause my pussy to start fluttering in imminent orgasms.

“Babe,” I breathed, arching my neck away from his mouth. “Please move.”

He did but gave it to me in slow, shallow pushes that only did just enough to incite me further.

“Coffey,” I pleaded.

He stopped midthrust and looked at me, uncaring of the tiny healing scrapes on my forehead and cheeks.

“What?” I breathed.

He ran his fingers along my spine, his gaze intense.

“I love you,” he breathed.

I raised a finger and ran it along the bridge of his nose. “I know.”

He moved his hand from my spine to my ass, seated himself fully inside of me, then smacked my ass. “Back to business.”

I threw my head back and laughed.

Then I screamed as that orgasm that was on the brink finally burst through.

I arrived at the party late.

Not because I’d intended to or anything, but because I finally had a full shower, and I was definitely taking advantage of its greatness.

I.e., I shaved my legs.

Which I told my family when they asked what took me so long.

“I was shaving,” I explained. “It was nice to finally have a place to do it that’s not a campground bathroom.”

“Coffey definitely wouldn’t care if you didn’t have shaved legs,” Tony pointed out.

Her eyes flicked toward the man she’d been staring at since he’d appeared at his friend Titus’s side.

Slone.

“I don’t shave my legs for Coffey,” I said to my sister, my gaze going back to Slone, who was most certainly not looking at Tony, but he was definitely aware of her. “I shave my legs for the woman that gives me a pedicure.”

Caristonia laughed. She didn’t stop laughing until Coffey came into the room and looked at her weirdly.

“What?” I asked him.

“Is she okay?” he asked, looking even more worried the longer the laughing went on.

I nodded. “Caristonia had vocal damage when she was a young kid. Sometimes, when she laughs for a really long time, she starts to sound like she’s dying. She’s fine. She just has a really awkward laugh.”

When Coffey got close, he wrapped his hands around my hips and pulled me into him. His eyes studied my face, and he frowned at what he saw.
