“How about some soft leggings too, yeah?” He produced a hot pink pair, also from the shelf. “Grab Daddy’s shoulders, Little one.”
She eagerly held on to him so he could get the pants on her, and then she felt marginally less exposed. Kiki did feel better in fresh clothing. It seemed to help her shift into Little space. Wrapping her arms around herself, Kiki realized she was still shivering from a combination of the orgasm and the shock of everything that was happening at once.
“Let’s get you warmed up and relaxed,” Terry suggested. He wrapped a soft blanket around her next, lifted her into his arms, and settled in a large rocking chair in the corner of the room, angling her so she faced her new environment.
He tucked the blanket tight around her and rubbed her arms. “What do you think, Bumblebee?”
She finally let her gaze wander around the space. In addition to what she now confirmed was a changing table, she took in a dresser, a bookshelf filled with toys and stuffies and books, a toy box, and a daybed with slats on three sides. She was pretty sure she glimpsed a fourth slatted side tucked under the bed that would easily turn it into a crib. If raised into place, she wouldn’t be able to get out until allowed to do so.
Kiki was overwhelmed and uncertain. Was this really happening, and was she ready for something like this?
Chapter Nine
Terry was trying hard to read his Little girl, but it was difficult.
She was stunned. That was for sure. But in a good way or a bad way?
He kept talking. “After seeing your place last night, I decided you like bold colors, so I ordered some pillows in a rainbow of colors to add a splash of brightness to the room. It was mostly white until this morning.”
She turned to look at him. “You did this for me?” Her voice was small and incredulous. She looked panicked but also surprised.
“Yes, Bumblebee. Most of it I’ve accumulated over the past several years while I looked for my own Little girl. I wanted it to be ready for you when you popped into my life. I thought you might show up like a freight train and burrow right into my heart, and I was right.” He grinned.
She licked her lips. “Do all Little girls have rooms like this?”
“I don’t know about all of them, but I bet the majority of the Littles you’ve met at Blaze have nurseries or at least playrooms. Little girls need a space where they can relax and be as Little as they want to be.”
Kiki turned to look around the room again. “I’ve never thought about having a nursery. Would I sleep in here?”
“Sometimes. Mostly for naps. I’ll probably feel pretty lonely in my big bed now that I’ve found you.” He winked at her, hoping to lighten the mood. “When you’re ready, that is.”
“Do you expect me to wear diapers and take bottles? This room is set up for an adult Baby.”
“Not until you’re ready for that step, Bumblebee. But I bet once you get comfortable in my home, you’ll have days when you want Daddy to take care of everything so you can fully relax and recharge. Baby days can be fun.”
“I don’t know about that part, Daddy. I’ve never thought about being that young. It sounds embarrassing and kind of scary,” she admitted.
It tugged at Terry’s heartstrings. She was being so honest and so brave. “And we don’t have to worry about crossing that bridge completely, Little one. We’ll discuss it again when you’re ready. For now, think of this room as your special place where you can be any age you want. Maybe circumstances will make it better for you to wear a diaper or drink from a bottle, and we’ll use those things. I think you’re pretty comfortable being dry in your pull-up now.”
When she nodded and her cheeks colored so adorably, he added, “If nothing else, this can be your play space. You can come in here and color or do puzzles. Maybe you’d like Daddy to read you a book or two.”
He loved the spark of interest kindling in her eyes as she scanned the space again. Terry hoped it seemed less scary the more she considered the possibilities. “We can change anything in here you would like.”
She held her breath for a moment and then let it out. “Can I look around, Daddy?”
“Of course. Are you ready to get down?”
“Yes, Daddy.”
He peeled the blanket back and eased her to her feet. “Let me find you some socks.” He didn’t want her toes to get cold.
Leaving her to spin around in a circle, he strode to the chest of drawers and grabbed a pair of white socks with kittens on them. When he returned, he sat on the rocking chair, lifted her into his lap, and pulled the socks over her cute feet.
