He started bobbing his head, each time letting Jude go deep into that tight throat. The repeated slides had his vision going black around the edges. A hoarse cry escaped his throat as Snow pressed his tongue hard against him. Jude bent over him as pleasure coursed through him hard and fast.

“Such a hot, fucking mouth,” he growled. “Get yourself out for me.”

Snow complied, freeing his beautiful dick.

“Stroke yourself but keep sucking me. Don’t stop.”

Snow groaned and wrapped a hand around himself. He was so gorgeous like this and he loved so fiercely, Jude felt it in every fiber of his being. Snow sucked harder as he stroked himself, and the dual visual made Jude’s balls draw up. But he wasn’t ready to come. He wanted this to last longer. But Snow was moaning and sucking him so well, and his long surgeon’s fingers were stroking his own cock. Jude’s orgasm swelled and crashed over him, and he yelled and spilled deep in Snow’s throat.

Snow swallowed around him and started jacking his dick faster and faster until he cried out around Jude’s cock and spilled all over the floor.

Jude’s legs gave out and he slid down the door. Snow leaned forward and pressed their foreheads together, both panting.

“Shit, look at your hands.”

Jude barely had the energy to raise them and he grimaced when he saw his knuckles. “Worth it,” he said. He’d beat the guy all over again if he had the chance. “Think the cops got him?”

“I doubt anyone took the time to cut him loose with the cops showing up so fast, but yeah. Rowe will be able to find out tomorrow.”

“Good. I wanted to kill him, General.”

“I know you did.” Snow leaned back on his heels to stare at him. “But I’m glad you didn’t. It’s not something you want to live with and not something I want you to live with either.”

“We still don’t know who runs that website. Who forced my brother into doing that video.”

“No, but the man who raped him will be behind bars, so it’s a start.” Snow groaned and got to his feet. “That floor is fucking hard.” He smirked that wicked grin that was always a punch to Jude’s gut. “Come on. Let’s shower and go for round two.”

Chapter 17

Jude leaned against the wall outside of Snow’s office, scrubbing his hand across his face. They’d both started back to work that day for the first time since Jordan’s attack, ending what had become their extended vacation. Both he and Snow had lucked out with the morning shift, so they’d carpooled to the hospital.

A part of him had felt good about sliding behind the wheel of the ambulance again. He was more at peace and settled than he had been in nearly two weeks. Rebecca had been kind enough not to ask about Jordan but then, he was sure she was getting regular updates from Carrick. Jude had managed to put Jordan from his immediate thoughts for several hours as he focused on the people he was called to help.

The day had been a brisk one. There were at least three heart attacks, two women in labor, a possible broken hip from a fall down the stairs, and kidney stones that had left one man curled up on the floor in pain. Unfortunately, they were also called to a shooting near the end of their shift. The young man couldn’t have been more than nineteen or twenty, briefly reminding Jude of his brother. They hadn’t been able to save him.

After a quick shower and changing into street clothes, Jude trekked up to ICU and sat with his brother for a while. His mana was absent, but his aunt Shelley was sitting in the waiting room working on some knitting while watching the evening news. His uncle Gary had apparently stopped by, dropped off Shelley, and taken Anna home for a few hours to eat, sleep, and shower. His entire family was taking turns sitting with Jordan and making sure that Anna went home regularly.

Jordan was starting to show some small improvements. The doctor was talking about taking him off the ventilator the next day, and the neurologist was hopeful that he hadn’t sustained any permanent spinal damage. It was likely that Jordan would walk again, but he was going to need a lot of physical therapy. Jude just wished his brother would wake up. He knew it was better that Jordan stay unconscious, that he rest and let his body heal from the trauma it had suffered, but Jude needed to look in his brother’s dark brown eyes and see that he was going to be okay.

He also needed to look in his brother’s eyes and tell him that it was all going to be okay. That Jude was going to get his hands on the men who had hurt his brother. That he was going to be there for Jordan in every step of his recovery. He needed to apologize for failing him. Somehow, some way, he’d slipped up, and his brother didn’t feel he could come to Jude for help and it was killing him.
