Benjamin and I shared a smirk.

“That’s our fucking girl,” Benjamin chuckled in a low tone.

I kept the man pinned and called the police to arrest the two attackers. I didn’t know where Deviau was, but I was determined to find him to make sure that Emery was never put in danger again.

Once the police handcuffed the man and forced them in the back of the police cars, I hurried over to Akio’s car where Emery was sitting in the backseat with her legs hanging out of the side. She looked tired and a little beat up, but she had that beautiful smile of hers on her face.

“I’m so glad you’re okay,” I said as I swept her up in a tight hug, drawing her body against mine. I breathed in the scent of her hair, missing its sweet smell.

“I knew you guys would find me,” Emery murmured against my shoulder, wrapping her arms around my neck. She nuzzled her face against my neck before drawing back to smile at me.

Unable to help myself, I leaned forward and captured her lips, kissing her sweetly and firmly. I couldn’t believe I almost lost her. I wouldn’t even know how to move along with my life if that happened. My heart revolved around her.

Emery moved her lips against mine slowly, taking her time to treasure each motion. She kissed me like it was the first time, and in a way, it felt like it was, given how she almost died.

“Alright, lovebirds. Break it up.”

Emery laughed as she drew away from me to look over at Benjamin.

“Impatient, aren’t you?” she teased him.

I smirked and stepped to the side, letting Benjamin approach her. We were all beyond ecstatic to have her in our arms again. It would be even harder to let her go now, and I hoped that we wouldn’t have to.

“The last twenty-four hours without you have been the worst of my life,” Benjamin replied, prompting my eyebrows to lift in surprise. Even the other guys looked surprised because we hadn’t ever heard Benjamin say sweet words like that before.

Emery smiled up at him as he cupped her face.

“I don’t want to be without you guys for that long ever again,” she said.

“We can make that happen,” Benjamin promised before leaning forward to press his lips against hers.

I turned to Akio and Rhett, who were watching the kiss with intensely dark eyes.

“You said you found a loft for us to stay at?” I asked Akio.

Akio looked over at me with a slight smirk on his face and nodded.

“Plenty of space. Soundproof walls,” he told me.

I looked back over at Benjamin and Emery, who were in the midst of a deepening, heated kiss.

“Perfect.”

EMERY

Words couldn’t describe the relief that I felt now that I was back with the guys. We still needed to take care of Deviau, but I figured that could wait for a moment. I wanted to be properly reunited with them, and all of them were quite wired from the adrenaline of the fight. That promised a good time ahead of us.

Akio had landed us a sizable loft with multiple bedrooms at the top of a tall building that overlooked the rest of the city. It was a modern unit with plenty of windows, letting in plenty of natural light that washed against the wooden floors. He could’ve given us an in depth tour, but telling by how they left lingering kisses on my lips and neck, we weren’t all that interested in checking out the amenities just yet.

Once we all piled into the master bedroom, Andrew easily picked me up and laid me down on the king-sized bed that I knew Akio had arranged for the loft on purpose. They surrounded me on all sides, leaning down to brush their lips along my neck, my wrists, and my face.

I let my eyes flutter shut, curling my fingers in Andrew’s and Akio’s hair as they kissed either side of my neck. I felt Rhett and Benjamin work off my shoes and undo my pants, steadily stripping me layer by layer. When my bare skin rested against the cool, white sheets, I arched my back slightly, letting out a sigh of bliss as their hands roamed up the inside of my thighs and over my breasts.

Andrew’s fingers brushed a few cuts on the side of my face that had hit the window when Rhett’s car struck the tree. He frowned at the sight as he lay on his side next to me.

“I’m so sorry all of this happened,” he told me.

I shook my head and leaned forward, kissing him to shush him. I didn’t need apologies or regret from them. They did what they could to protect me, and I would be forever grateful for them putting their lives on the line for me.
