Once we reached the house, I heard the driver and passenger doors open and close, but I was glad my men were smart enough not to disturb me and Remy. Remy had actually drifted off, so I had to give him a little bit of a shake to wake him up. He grinned like a Cheshire cat and stretched against me. Then his hand went to cover his eyes. The smile was still there though. "Oh my God, I'm never going to be able to look Stan or Terrence in the eyes again."

"Me neither," I admitted. "I sense a raise in their very near future."

"Haven't you ever…" Remy began and then snapped his mouth shut. The blush on his cheeks was adorable. He looked so happy and sated that I couldn't help but lean in and kiss him gently.

"Haven't I ever what? Had myself a little fun in the back seat?" I asked.

He nodded. I loved how shy he’d become, considering it hadn’t been more than fifteen minutes since he'd been riding me like I was his favorite mount.

"I never mixed business with pleasure. And even if I had, I haven't…" I caught myself as I realized what I was about to admit to. "I haven't been with anyone since I lost my son," I said quietly.

Remy's eyes held mine as he stroked my face. "I've never… you know," he said as he looked down between us. His flaccid cock was resting between us and was still covered with his juices. Whereas he'd been pink in the cheeks before, he was full-on flaming red now. "I mean, I did sometimes when I used my own hand,” he began to say, then he covered his eyes with his hand and said, "Oh God, kill me now." The fact that we were talking, joking even, about me being the first guy who’d ever made him come was surreal.

I laughed at his embarrassment and then pointed to myself and reminded him, "Harry Potter gay fanfic writer here."

We both started laughing and then Remy hugged me again. "Porn fic," he corrected.

"Hey. Some of those stories had a lot of substance to them," I insisted.

Remy chuckled and responded, "Either way, I think Harry Potter is going to end up being my new favorite character."

I sighed because I just couldn't believe any of this was happening. He really was here in my arms and he was… happy. I was happy.

I eased him off my body because there was no way of getting around the fact that we were still sitting in a car with quickly cooling cum covering parts of our bodies. I climbed out of the car first and then took my jacket off. I helped Remy out, then draped my jacket over his shoulders. I hoped like hell my brothers hadn't decided to wait up so they could rip on us about our date. Despite their ages, they were still my brothers. I wouldn't have put it past them to be sitting around watching for me and my date to return home. They put teenage girls to shame.

I took Remy's hand in mine and led him to the house, which was mostly dark.

As we entered the dimly lit foyer, I realized our date was almost over and I had no idea what to do next. The very last thing I wanted to do was leave him, but I didn't know where things were at. I wanted to take things slow with Remy so I wouldn't risk scaring him off, but I hadn't anticipated that it would be this difficult to be away from him, even just for the night. And what if he had regrets after I left him and he ran again? The thought of losing him made my skin feel cold and my insides hollow. All the pleasure I’d just felt evaporated.

When had I gotten in this deep with him? We were supposed to be taking things slow and seeing what it would be like to do just the normal dating stuff without all the drama from our pasts. While I wanted to shower Remy with all the things that came with dating, it made my heart physically hurt to have to say goodbye to him, even if it was just for a matter of hours.

I led Remy to his room. "I had a good time," I said.

Good time? I'd had a fucking amazing time. Why hadn't I told him that?

"Me too," Remy said awkwardly. "Thank you for dinner. And that walk was great."

I hated that it felt like we were suddenly strangers again. But I supposed that was how first dates worked.

I bent and gave him a quick kiss because I figured it was part of the protocol. "See you in the morning."

"Yeah, see you," Remy said. He opened his door and disappeared into his room. It felt like I was carrying a thousand pounds of deadweight behind me as I made my way down the hall to my own room. I half expected to find my brothers sitting there waiting for me so they could ride me about what had happened, but fortunately, the room was empty.
