“Are you going to breed me now?” I asked, my pulse suddenly racing with desire. “Please, Cole—I’ve been waiting for you! I don’t want any knot in me but yours.”

“Yes, I’m going to breed you baby,” he growled in my ear and I felt the blunt head of his cock sliding across the slippery mouth of my pussy. “Mmm, feels like you’re already nice and creamy inside,” he murmured.

“I’ve had a lot of Alphas in me,” I admitted, spreading my legs wider for him. “But I wouldn’t let any of them knot me—I don’t want anyone but you, Cole.”

“That’s how I feel about you too, baby,” he murmured. “But I’m not going to breed you this way—not in my Fur Form.”

“What? But I thought that breeding in Fur Form was what made it okay!” I protested. “I thought that was why some people were allowed to break the Unbreakable Laws—because the rules are relaxed during the Choosing Ceremony.”

“They are,” Cole growled. “But I’m not going to let anyone say that I got away with taking you as my mate because I bred you during your Choosing Ceremony. Tonight I’m going to defy the Unbreakable Laws and take you in front of the whole Pack…in my human form.”

As he finished speaking, I felt him starting to Shift behind me. Turning my head I saw not an enormous black wolf, but the familiar face of my beloved older brother.

“Oh, Cole!” I exclaimed and let go of the golden rings that held me to the obelisks to throw my arms around his neck. Now that I had found my true mate, I didn’t need the power of the Choosing Stone anymore.

All around us, the members of the Pack began to murmur among themselves. Most of the unmated Alphas had Shifted back to human form and the mated couples were still human as well. Cole stood there on the Choosing Stone, naked and unashamed and looked down at them all.

“People and Wolves of our Pack,” he called in a deep voice that carried through the entire glade. “I am you Packmaster, Cole Blackburn, and many of you know this ripe Were bitch as my little sister, Delilah Blackburn.” He took my hand and held it firmly. “What some of you may not know is that Delilah is my sister through adoption—not through blood.”

There were murmurs among the Pack and I saw some people frowning at us as he held my hand in his.

“Now some say that the adoption ceremony performed when a new child is adopted into a Pack family is as binding as a blood tie,” Cole continued. “And that siblings in such an adopted relationship have no right to be together.”

“It’s breaking the Unbreakable Laws!” shouted one older Were male at the back of the crowd.

“Oh, you mean like we do with every Choosing Ceremony?” Cole asked, raising an eyebrow. “Like we did just now when Delilah allowed all the unmated Alphas of our Pack to mount her in their partially Shifted forms?”

“It’s not the same,” the older Were protested.

“Why not?” a younger woman asked. “Why should people be kept apart by an adoption ceremony when we allow the Alphas of the Pack to breed us in their Fur Form? Why is it all right to break one Unbreakable Law and not the other?”

There were murmurs of agreement and I saw Cole nodding his head.

“Thank you—that’s exactly my point,” he said. “What I have come here tonight to say is that I have found the love of my life and my mate and she’s right here.” He lifted my hand high and I smiled shyly and waved at the crowd.

There were a few boos but many more cheers—people seemed to like seeing us together, I thought.

“I will not be constrained by an ancient law that shouldn’t apply to those without blood connections,” Cole went on. “I intend to take Delilah as my mate—I’m going to claim her and breed her here and now, in front of all of you. Anyone who doesn’t like it, can leave the Pack. But if you want to stay—we welcome you.”

There was silence for a moment, then most of the Pack began to cheer. It seemed like maybe this particular law wasn’t very popular—at least as it applied to adoption. I knew that many children in the Pack got orphaned due to Pack wars and were adopted into other families. Maybe Cole and I weren’t the first adopted brother and sister to fall in love and want to be together.

Cole turned to me and bent down to hug me. I stood on my tiptoes and hugged him back, loving the feeling of his hard, muscular chest brushing against my sensitive nipples.

“I think they’re with me, baby,” he murmured in my ear. “Now we just need to finish this.”
