“You!” Tatiana teased. “Come on. Sell me some cupcakes.”

“If you insist…” Ellie stood and led the way into the bakery.

As she waited for Riley to box her treats after buying them, Tatiana felt all the horrible feelings of the last twenty-four hours evaporate. She really did need to learn to trust her Daddy.

“I wondered what happened to you, Rainbow.” A deep voice behind her made her jump.

“Oh! I ran into Ellie and decided to buy cupcakes.” She placed one box in Maniac’s hand. “You know, as a peace offering. I owe you an apology.”

“I’d be happy if you’d talk to me.”

“I’ll do that too,” she rushed to assure him.

“Let’s head back to the shop before the clients riot and decide to tattoo themselves.”

“Oh! Good idea.” She hadn’t even considered that they were both in Little Cakes so no one would be manning Maniac Tats.

“Buzz is there. He’s getting set up for the weekend.”

“I think he’ll be a great addition,” Tatiana said as they walked out of the bakery.

“He will. But first, we talk about us.”

“I don’t know why I panicked when Beth showed up. I should have talked to you immediately instead of letting it build up in my mind.”

“There’s no one you need to worry about as a rival for my affection. I love you, Tatiana Marie Fredrickson.”

“You know my middle name?”

“I do. I also know your bottom is going to be very red for running away from your Daddy. Or maybe I need to devise another punishment that will help you remember that you should run toward me and not away.”

“I’ll remember. Promise!”

His look told her that wasn’t going to be enough. Maniac held his hand out and she took it, gripping his fingers tightly. When the magnetic man lifted their clasped hands to his mouth and pressed a soft kiss to her skin, Tatiana’s heart melted. He cared for her like no one ever had.

“Whatever you think best, Daddy,” she whispered.

“Good girl. You head inside to keep the kumquats safe. I’m going to run to my truck for something I packed just in case.”

He opened the door and ushered her inside. Tatiana scurried to the back to put the cupcakes in a safe spot for them to enjoy later. Unable to resist, she opened the box and pulled back the paper baking liner from the cake and took a big bite. Yum!

She loved the citrusy flavor of the cake and frosting. It was the perfect combination of sweet and tart. Taking another quick bite, she wrapped it back up and set it in the box for later. A noise at the entrance to the backroom made her whirl around, afraid her Daddy had already decided how she needed to be punished. He wouldn’t do anything to her at work, would he?

At the sight of Maniac’s smile, Tatiana swallowed hard.

“I promised to be good, Daddy.”

“I appreciate that, Rainbow. I think you need a reminder to talk to your Daddy.”

“What is it?” she asked, pointing to the small package in his hand.

“A decoration to go on your nipples, Tatiana. They’ll squeeze your tight peaks all day long to help you remember that you’re my Little girl and no one else.”

“Will they hurt?” she asked, biting her bottom lip as her body responded to the tantalizingly scary thought.

“Only a bit.”

Maniac crowded her against the counter and lifted her T-shirt up to expose her small bare breasts. His thumbs brushed across the small swells. “Mmm, you need a little coaxing for these to fit.”

She gasped as Maniac leaned forward to nibble on one beaded tip. Clutching his shoulders, Tatiana whispered, “Buzz could come in any time.”

“Mmm hmm,” he hummed, making that peak tighten further. “Perfect. Good girl.”

“Wait…” Tatiana protested when he raised his head.

“Oh, this isn’t pleasure, Little girl. This is a reminder to talk to your Daddy when you’re upset,” he explained as he fastened the nipple clamp and tightened it. Maniac watched her face as he adjusted the fit. When she lifted onto her toes as the sting wiped away any other thoughts, he eased it back slightly and moved to repeat his preparations on the other side.

Tatiana heard the front door open and someone walk in. Buzz greeted the customer and introduced himself. She recognized the responding voice. He was her first appointment of the day. Distracted by her thoughts, Tatiana let out a small squeal when her Daddy tightened the second clamp.

“Shh, Rainbow. You don’t want them to come back here,” Maniac warned.

She clapped her hand over her mouth as he finished. Maniac gently settled her T-shirt back into place and tugged it down slightly to demonstrate the effect of the clamps on her sensitive nipples.

“That should help you remember, Little girl.”

“Hey, Tatiana. Your client is here,” Buzz called from the door.

“Thanks! I’ll be right there,” Tatiana answered as Maniac stepped away.
