She plucked the orange one from his hand. “Kumquat, please.”
As Tatiana struggled to open the tightly sealed box, Maniac moved to the large tub and turned on the water. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched him adjust the temperature until he was satisfied.
“There. That will be toasty but not too hot. Want some help?” he asked, holding out his hand for the stubborn plastic-wrapped box.
“Sure.” She handed it over, ready to watch him struggle with it.
Maniac winked and opened a drawer to pull out a pair of scissors. In a flash, he snipped off the top and tipped the brush into her hand. “It’s not my first rodeo,” he reminded her.
“Much easier.”
He squeezed a dollop of toothpaste onto her brush before adding some to the green one in the holder on the vanity. Standing next to him as they cleaned their teeth together felt so normal that Tatiana let her shoulder muscles relax down to a less stressed position. When Maniac rubbed her back softly with his free hand, she knew he understood.
When they’d both rinsed their mouths, Maniac turned her around to look at him. “If you’re not ready for me to give you a bath, Little girl, it’s okay.”
“I’m just scared that I won’t be what you’re looking for,” she whispered.
“You are exactly what I want just as you are. I’m not attracted to you for your endearing clothes or your incredible artistic talents alone. All the pieces of your personality, experiences, and quirks are combined in a beautiful wrapper that makes me hard too frequently in the studio.”
“No way. I’ve never noticed that!”
“I’m sneaky. I can’t really stand up with a full erection after working on an I love you, Mom tattoo, can I?”
A snort of laughter escaped her lips before she could stop herself. “That’s awful!”
“Exactly. So let’s get these clothes off so you can get in the bubble bath.”
She glanced over at the tub. It was halfway full of clear water. “You forgot the bubbles.”
“You choose for Daddy.” Maniac walked over to the tub to pick up two fancy bottles. Reading the labels, he asked, “Pink bubblegum scent or Luxurious Lavender?”
“Lavender. I love that smell.”
“I’m glad I picked it for you.”
Maniac removed the protective plastic and unscrewed the top with ease. Tipping the bottle over the flowing water, he poured a small amount into the tub. Instantly the beautiful floral fragrance filled the room.
Tatiana closed her eyes to concentrate on the soothing scent. The movement of air around her made Tatiana reopen them. Her breath caught in her throat as Maniac tossed his T-shirt into the hamper. She’d seen him in a minimal tank coming from Fitness Haven—the gym just a few stores down from the tattoo shop—but Tatiana had never seen all his skin on display.
Without thinking, she walked forward to run her fingertips over the patterns etched into his skin. Ranging from tribal patterns to intricate detailing, Tatiana knew she’d love looking at him for years to come. “How come I’ve never added to this?” she asked.
“Feeling your hands move on me, I would have needed a tent over me,” he said bluntly. “You haven’t asked me to add anything for you either.”
“I was afraid I’d leave a big wet spot on your seat,” she confessed, feeling her cheeks heat with embarrassment.
“That isn’t helping, Little girl.” Maniac groaned before shifting his growing shaft inside his jeans.
“Whoa!” Maniac jerked his head to look at the tub and raced over to turn off the water. “You, Little girl, are a distraction.”
Giggles burst from her lips at the sight of a million bubbles piled higher than the sides of the bathtub. She tried not to stare at the sight of his toned ass as Maniac let out a bit of the water from the tub to make space for her to settle inside without the liquid overflowing.
When he returned to her side, Maniac drew her pink flapper dress carefully over her head and draped it over the side of the hamper. “We’ll need to get you some fun play clothes for after work.”
“I brought some shirts and shorts,” she said, trying to distract herself from wrapping her arms around her middle. Why don’t I ever wear a bra?
“That will work for now.”
He smoothed a hand over her ribcage and stomach, appearing to admire the artwork as much as she had his. Tatiana’s arms were covered by almost full sleeves of tattoos but there were large patches of undecorated skin on her torso. Her warm skin color made its own pattern against the brightness of the colorful tattoos. “Beautiful, Baby girl.”
After sliding his fingertips under the thin straps of her panties, Maniac tugged the scrap of fabric down to the floor and instructed, “Put your hand on my shoulder to balance. Lift one foot… Now, the other.”
