An impressive couple of hours had passed when there was a knock at my door. “Come in,” I replied.
The door pushed aside and Brix walked in, with a writhing, sneering Sadie tossed over his shoulder. Her arms and legs were bound, and there was even a gag stuffed in her mouth, no doubt the result of dual set of teeth marks now turning bright red on Brix’s hand. The guard himself didn’t seem angry or frustrated though, exactly as I had trained him. He had a smile on his face and held on with ease as Sadie wiggled her body against his single arm pinning her against him. Watching her struggle in his embrace was enough on its own to get me going. My mind traveled to the litany of other situations we could find ourselves in. Those fantasies would have to wait, at least until she wasn’t biting as much.
I laughed as I stood up. “Welcome back. Feisty little thing, isn’t she?”
Brix chuckled. “You don’t know the half of it.”
I pointed over to my bed. “Tie her there.”
Brix brought Sadie over to the bed and set her down with a gentleness I would expect from him. I would have just dropped her. He took some of the spare rope he had in his pocket and used it to tie a spare couple of loops around Sadie’s already bound wrists and then tied her to the railing of my extravagant four-poster bed. He turned with a sigh and laughed.
“She’s not dumb by any stretch,” Brix explained. “Sold me some story about how she thought she saw her nephew in the children’s play area and asked if she could go say hi. Promised she would be good if I did. I didn’t see any way out, so I figured it would be okay. She ran in, pulled the fire alarm, and tried to break out one of the windows in the chaos.”
I nodded my head. “Creative. Pulled on your heartstrings.”
Brix nodded. “And then the fire alarm.”
I smiled at Sadie. “A good fire alarm trick is always a good one to have in your back pocket.”
As Brix and I laughed about it, Kane entered the room with the bag of food and the shake Sadie had originally requested. It was just like my men to actually get her the food, even if she didn’t truly want it, though the verdict on if she did or not was still out. Kane, too, had an amused grin on his face as he set the food down on the table.
“Did you tell him what she did?” Kane asked.
Brix nodded. “Of course.”
“She looked like a chick in an action movie. Just wandered into the playroom all calm and normal and then all of a sudden, boom!” Kane clapped his hands. “Sprang into action, pulled the fire alarm, and then grabbed a chair and started trying to bash out a window. Thank god it was actually plastic, and not glass.”
I laughed more at how amused Kane and Brix were. She was going to give us a run for our money, that was clear. “Well, thanks for staying on your toes gentlemen. You can go for now.”
“Yes, sir,” they replied in unison. They didn’t wait a single moment more; they turned and left immediately.
I turned my gaze to Sadie who was glaring at me like she was hoping my head would pop off. I walked over to her and shook my head. “You caused quite a fuss, didn’t you?” She flailed her legs, hoping to kick me, but they were still bound, so they didn’t move the way she wanted them to. I grabbed the gag and pulled it from her mouth. “I hope that you realize now that there’s no way out. Unless you obey and bow to me, this will be your fate.”
Sadie’s brows hunched in anger and then she pulled back and spit into my face. In any other situation, it would have pissed me off, but her fight was just plain sexy. I used the sleeve to my shirt to wipe the spit away, and then to my shock, I found myself placing my lips against Sadie’s. My body made the decision more than my brain did. Sadie struggled against my hold, and I could feel myself getting aroused. I let my cock settle against her waist and slowly, but surely, Sadie’s fight faded away, until we were simply locked in a passionate kiss. Her breath hitched, and when I pushed my tongue against her lips, she parted them and let me in. She let a gentle moan escape her lips and if the way she bucked her hips towards me was any indicator, I wasn’t the only one getting turned on.
Brix
As I bandaged my bite wound from Sadie, I couldn’t get her off my mind. She was gorgeous, especially all done up in the clothes Dante had bought for her. Her quick remarks told me she was intelligent, and she’d shown no shortage of the fight and determination she had in her body. She was just plain sexy, and god damn it if Dante wasn’t a lucky son-of-a-bitch for sinking his teeth into her early. Once she gave in, she was going to look good on the boss’ arm, but I couldn’t stop myself from imagining myself with her instead.
