I gazed up into his eyes, trying to find the right words to say.
“I love all of you, and I don’t want to choose. I don’t want to lose any of you,” I told him.
Ryder smiled and nodded.
“We wouldn’t ever make you choose between us,” he said. “But you do have to choose between Chalice Falls and New York. If you stay in Chalice Falls with us, we’ll support you and your career however we can. If you stay in New York, we’ll support you from afar and let you live your life.”
I looked at the others.
“You feel the same way?” I asked. They exchanged glances, before turning back to me.
“Yes,” Jesse answered for the group. “It’s down to you.”
I let out a shaky breath before moving away to sit on the couch, fearing that my legs would give out at any second. My entire future was up in the air right now, and I wanted to make a decision now. I couldn’t bear to linger in a transition period any longer.
“I’d have to talk to my label. I’d need a place to record,” I murmured, speaking my thoughts aloud.
“Record at our studio. We can hire a producer,” Carson said.
“And you can fly wherever they want you to go,” Jesse reminded me.
“If the song does well… would you want to record an album with me? My agent mentioned that being a possibility,” I asked them with a hopeful tone to my voice.
Ryder knelt down in front of me with an enthused expression on his face.
“Seriously? That would be incredible!” he said.
Jesse sat on my right side.
“Maybe that could help convince your label to allow you to move, but do you want to go back to Chalice Falls? This is your decision,” he told me.
I looked down at my knees, my mind working. Things were complicated, but no matter what decision I made, there would be roadblocks. But if I chose to be with them, I would be surrounded by love and support in a way that I hadn’t ever experienced before. I could rewrite my history in Chalice Falls and actually feel like it was home.
New York was thriving with opportunities, but I didn’t care for the cocky people and the constant noise. I just wanted to make music and be happy, and I could do both of those things if I chose the band. My decision was made.
“Take me back home,” I breathed. Carson sat on my left and Jesse and Wyatt stood on either side of Ryder.
Ryder cupped my cheek as he smiled at me.
“We will. But first, I’m going to make it official,” he told me before pulling back and reaching into the back pocket of his khaki pants.
I gave him a confused look that immediately plummeted off my face the moment he pulled out a black ring box. I swore that I had been done crying, but more tears filled my eyes as I placed my hand over my mouth.
“No other person has stolen our hearts like you have. No one begins to compare to how beautiful you are and how talented you are. We want to be with you forever, to share a life with you. Will you do us the honor of that?” Ryder asked before flipping open the top of the ring box to show off a gleaming diamond ring with a silver band.
Tears coursed down my cheeks as the guys peered at me with hopeful looks on their faces. By agreeing, I would be pledging myself to all of them. I couldn’t imagine anything better than spending my life with the men who cared about me the most, in the town that was truly my home.
“Yes, of course!” I exclaimed.
Ryder slid the ring onto my finger before pressing his lips against mine.
I laughed happily into the kiss, soon feeling affectionate touches from the others as they all took their turns claiming my lips. Each touch made me warm up, pure happiness and desire clashing. Now that I had them, I never wanted to let go of them ever again.
“I don’t think today can get any better,” I said once I captured my breath from all of the sweet kisses that I shared with them.
Carson kissed my shoulder as he sat on my left side.
“I don’t know. I can think of a thing or two that could make this night one to remember,” he murmured as he tilted his head at me in a teasing manner.
My heart rate doubled as I started to notice their hands all over me, roaming up my legs, down my arms, and along my sides. At one time, I was intimidated by being with two guys. Now, I wasn’t even nervous to be with five because I knew they would take care of me and cherish me.
“Then, what are we waiting for?”
