Finley’s entire body shook as the beat shifted to something slower and deeper that filled everyone with visions of bodies writhing on the dance floor. Finley was watching in utter rapture. I could feel every pulse of need and excitement that fired through him as Conner gave his leash one last tug before letting it slide through his fingers as he climbed up on the table.

As Conner straightened and nodded, stepping back into Ben’s embrace, Finley turned to me and hugged me tight. “Master, I’m so glad I changed my list. You’re so…that was…”
Chuckling, I wrapped my arms around him and turned him in my lap so he was curled up against me like a little pup. “Oh, pet, you were so sexy when you came for us.”
Blushing, Finley smiled sweetly and hid his face against me, soaking up the wonderful embarrassment I knew was flooding through him. “Master, thank you, that was…you understood…I just…”
Kissing him stopped the halting words that were tripping over themselves to escape, but I knew what my boy was trying to say. Keeping every brush of my lips against his soft and gentle, I cupped his cheek and finally just stared into his eyes. “I love you, pet. Sweet boy. Sexy slut. Tender boyfriend. You’re everything to me.”
Shaking, Finley threw his arms around me, hiding against me and shaking as he sucked in a breath. “I love you too, Master.”
The beautiful words were whispered softly but I could hear the truth ringing out in every one. “You saw me. No one ever saw me the way you did.”
“Because you were meant to be mine, pet. From your loving nature to your wonderfully naughty fantasies, you were meant to be mine.” Kissing his cheek, I ignored the rest of the room and the rest of the world as it turned around us. “You’re the center of my world, pet, and that will never change.”
The quiet romantic sigh that escaped Finley was so wonderfully Finley he made me smile and I knew that would never change. Fate and Conner had given me the most precious treasure I would ever have and I knew I was going to spend my life keeping it safe and steady.
