For the moment, I was tired, but not exhausted, so I pulled back the blankets on the bed and asked, “Would you like to watch some TV?” I sure as shit didn’t want him to put clothes back on to do something out on the ship.

“Sure.”

We climbed onto the mattress together, and my body went all tingly when Hayes snuggled close. I wrapped my arm around him and flicked through the channels. They were limited, given we were in the middle of the ocean, but I was able to find a nature channel, which was airing a show about tropical birds.

Everything was right with the world; I had a beautiful man in my arms - in my bed - as we sailed towards a sunny beach. Happiness and peace soaked down into my very bones. I was excited to see what we would share next, but I knew one thing for sure; when I returned home, Sarah was getting a raise.

Chapter Five

“Let me get your back,” I requested, twirling my finger in the air. Hayes rotated in his beach chair, giving me access to his shoulders and back. I poured a generous blob of sunscreen onto my palm and massaged it onto his warm skin, making sure to cover every inch.

We were relaxing on a Bahamian beach in a pair of plastic chairs we’d rented from locals. I was grateful for them, because I didn’t think my old ass could handle sitting directly on the sand, especially after walking about a mile from where the ship docked to the beach itself.

Being the spiteful bastard I was, I smiled to myself as I lathered Hayes in sunblock, happy that Mr. Sparkles never got the chance to touch my gorgeous boyfriend when he’d offered to do the same thing. I obviously wasn’t the type of person who let things go easily.

But it also made me smile that this was the second time of the day that I was splattering Hayes with thick white cream. The two of us woke up to watch the sunrise together, but we got distracted by the view of each other’s hard morning wood. So, we ended up having another sizzling jerk off session followed by a handsy shower. I didn’t think life could get any better, but here we were, sitting in paradise together.

“Okay, you’re all done,” I told him as I smeared the last bit of lotion over his hips.

“Thanks, babe.” Hayes was big on pet names, and I fucking loved it. “I’ll do you now.”

“Right here? Yes, please.”

Hayes snorted as he grabbed the bottle of sunscreen. He didn’t think my dumb sense of humor was…well, dumb. He shared it.

“I’m empty right now, but hit me up later,” he replied with a wink before pumping sunblock into his palm and going to work painting my hairy body. There was more of me to cover, but Hayes was careful to protect every bit of me.

Of course, the feel of his hands on my body and his naughty promise of sexy times got me all hot and bothered, and caused me to pitch a tent in my swim trunks. But I didn’t try to hide it and only smiled proudly when I caught him checking it out.

Once Hayes was finished with my rub down, we both kicked back in our seats, relaxing hand in hand as we gazed at the ocean. The water was a beautiful turquoise blue, and so clear that I could see straight down to the sand beneath it.

There wasn’t much of a current; the waves were small and gentle as they lapped against the beach, making it the perfect place for kids to play. Several little boys and girls were running through the water, kicking and laughing as it tickled their feet.

A few adults had brought inflatable rafts and were floating in the open water as they soaked up the sun. There was plenty of it for the soaking; there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, and the shining rays beat down on all of us. The temperature was in the mid-eighties and humid, making it a perfect beach day…for about an hour.

Soon, I was sweaty, hot, and cranky. Apparently, a chubby, hairy body and direct sunlight weren’t a great combination for long periods of time. I was just about to ask Hayes if he wanted to go for a swim to cool off when he spoke up.

“Hey, look at that.”

My eyes followed his pointed finger down the coastline, where a man was connecting something that I could best describe as a huge inflatable banana to the back of a jet ski. “What is that?”

“A banana boat.” That makes sense. “People sit on top and the jet ski pulls them behind it. Would you want to try it with me?”

I would do anything he wanted, especially if it involved escaping the sun’s punishment, so I replied, “Let’s do it.”
