“Good boy.” I nodded toward my cock, and Finley rushed over. He pulled my dick free, held it, and aimed it at the toilet for me, the way he loved to do. Afterward, we showered together, and I made him wash me. He whimpered when he washed my hardening prick, begging me again to fuck his mouth. He was hard and leaking, and there was nothing I wanted more than to push down into his throat and take what was mine, but I still denied him. It was fun to make him suffer.

Finley made smoothies for breakfast, and I packed the few beach supplies I had—towels and sunscreen and a few cold drinks in a cooler, before we drove to Santa Monica. It was still early, so parking wasn’t as horrible as it could have been. An hour or so later and we would have been screwed. I purchased two beach chairs at a little shop there, and then we found a spot on the sand and set up.

He was wearing board shorts, and though I was too, that definitely wouldn’t do. “Next time we need to get you a Speedo. I want to see more skin.”

Finley gave me that smile that lit up my chest. “Yes, Sir.”

My limbs were still too tight, my head sort of a mess. I saw families and children, little girls running and moms and dads laughing, and all I could think about was them. If I hadn’t fought with my father that day, if I hadn’t angered him, they would be alive. It was devastating how one small choice could change so many lives, only you never knew it ahead of time.

“Aidan?” Finley asked, and by the crease of his brow, I could tell it wasn’t the first time he’d tried to get my attention.

“I’m sorry, what?”

“Sunscreen…can I put it on you?”

I nodded.

He knelt behind me, squirted lotion into his hands, and began to rub it into my shoulders. My eyes fell closed as I tried to focus on him, on this boy who had come into my life and, with nothing more than being himself, had turned my world on its axis. I knew he didn’t realize how incredible he was, the things he was doing to me, but I also knew I wouldn’t tell him.

“Aidan, what’s the matter?”

“Nothing.”

He crawled over me until he sat between my legs, then rubbed sunscreen on my chest. “Did I do something wrong? If you tell me, I can fix it. I’ll try and be better.”

His words snatched the air from my lungs. He was so eager to please, to serve, to be good for me. It also broke my heart how quick he was to assume he’d messed up. “You didn’t do anything wrong. It’s just…the beach. It’s hard for me because of the day I lost my family.”

His mouth dropped open. “Oh my God. I’m so sorry! I wasn’t thinking. We can go right now.” He began to stand, but I grabbed his waist, holding him in place.

“We’re not going anywhere.”

“But, Aidan—”

“No!” I cut him off. “I’m fine. I want to give this to you, and you want what I want, yes?”

He nodded slowly.

“Giving you this will please me very much. And when you give me what I want, it gives you what you need, doesn’t it?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“It’s settled, then. Now continue lotioning me before you give me a reason to punish you.”

“I…” he started, then said, “Yes, Sir,” and did as told.

When he finished with me, I made sure to slather his body as well. He was so pale, I would have to watch him to make sure he didn’t get burned.

We sunbathed for a little while, but I could tell he still felt unsure. I didn’t want him to feel guilty or as if he was causing me pain, so I told him, “Come,” and he snuggled closer to me, my arm around him and his head on my chest. “How are your classes going?”

“Good. I got an A on a math exam, and my English teacher has used my papers for examples three times.”

“Good boy.” I kissed the top of his head. “Is that something you think you might want to do?”

“No…I just want to serve you.”

I sighed. “Finley…”

“What? It’s what I want,” he snapped, and I smacked his ass, making him squeak. “Oh my God. What if someone saw?”

“So?” I asked. “You belong to me. I can do as I wish with you, and you can serve me and still want a degree and have a career. I am capable of cleaning my own house, you know.”

He chuckled. “Hiring someone, you mean.”

“Or that.” I stroked his chest as I forced myself to say the words that needed to be said. “You won’t serve me forever. What happens when I’m not around?”

“I don’t want to think about that,” he replied, burrowing into my arm deeper and inhaling, taking his comfort in my scent and knowing I was there.
