I already hate Fiji.

I fucking love Fiji.

It’s not the bright orange sunset that’s happening right outside our hut. It’s not the smell of salt water and ocean or the nice cool breeze.

It’s my boyfriend flat on his stomach, naked, with me pushing his head into a pillow while I thrust into him over and over and over again.

Between the long-ass flight and being cockblocked at every chance, Maddox was right: it has made this more explosive.

Only problem with that is I don’t know how much longer I’m going to last, and Maddox is taking everything I’m giving him with no indication he’s anywhere near close to the finish line.

“Are you close?” I rasp. “You’re so tight. So hot. Fuck, I love you. You need to come. Like right now. Or soon. Like, hurry up.”

Maddox laughs. “You really are close. You ramble when you’re—” I peg his prostate “—fuck! Right there.”

I do it again and again until Maddox mutters unintelligible things.

“I’m gonna come,” I warn.

“Take me with you.”

There’s no room between him and the bed to reach for his cock, so all I can do is thrust harder and hope the friction beneath him is enough to push him over the edge.

Only problem with that is it brings me that much closer and I might beat him to the punch.

Baseball stats run through my head, trying to stave off my impending orgasm.

Sweat drips from my hair and down my torso, making our skin clammy and slick. My hand in Maddox’s blond hair is wet, and a bead of perspiration falls down the side of his face.

He finally puts me out of my misery by making that face of his—the one where his eyes roll back, his mouth drops open, and he lets out a sound that makes my balls draw up tight and my cock pulse.

I spill inside him, collapsing on top of him as I do.

Maddox recovers first and grunts, his telltale sign he needs me to get up.

“Can’t … move …” I pant.

“Have to. We’ll be late for dinner.”

“Fuck dinner.”

“Can’t go another round yet,” he jokes.

I pull out of him, flopping onto my back. “Who cares if we’re late. We’re on vacation. We can do what we want.”

“We should at least make an appearance on the first night. Matt and Noah are footing the bill for all of us to hang out here.”

“Fine,” I grumble. “But if we told them what we were doing, they’d totally understand.”

“And imagine if we all did that? Poor Soren’s gonna be sitting in the dining hut all by himself.”

“Yeah, well, after that flight, he can totally fend for himself.”

Maddox gets out of bed and pulls me up. “Come on. Quick shower, dinner and drinks, and then maybe I’ll let you blow me when we get back.”

“How generous of you,” I say dryly but don’t mean it. At all. I’ll be rushing through dinner just to get my mouth wrapped around Maddox’s cock.

He leads me to the bathroom, but the second we cross the threshold, I get a shiver running up my spine and the keen sense of eyes on me. Eyes that don’t belong to Maddox.

When I turn, on the glass of the shower door is a giant-ass spider.

I’ll admit my next move errs on the side of cowardice.

Something that can only be described as a scream that would send dogs crazy within a five-mile radius leaves my mouth, and I run for shelter. Why my brain thinks standing on top of the toilet can save me, I have no idea, but the next thing I know, I’m there.

Meanwhile, Maddox is laughing so hard, he has to hold on to his stomach.

I can’t do anything but point at the eight-legged spawn of Satan.

The spider crawls toward me, and I scream again.

“Shh,” Maddox says though still laughing. “The whole island will hear you, and then we’ll have everyone busting through the damn door, and we’re both naked and covered in cum.”

“Get it.” Why is he not killing the spider that’s right next to him? More importantly, why isn’t he freaking out? We’re in Fiji.

Maybe it wants to kill us.

With a swift move, Maddox finds his flip-flop by the door and flattens that fucker. “Want to come give your hero a kiss for saving your life?”

“Fuck you.”

“Nah, we just did that. Dinner and drinks, remember?”

I grumble throughout the shower and the whole way to dinner.

“You’re late,” Soren taunts as we enter the food hut.

In his defense, we are the last ones here.

“Shut it, Canada,” Maddox says.

Poor Soren—a Canadian living in New Jersey. He’s the butt of most of Maddox’s jokes when they’re in the same room.

Secretly, I think Soren loves it though. He always shrugs it off, because he knows Maddox is only joking even if he claims not to be.

“This is Damon’s first proper vacation in four years. We’re making the most of it,” Maddox says.
