“My job,” Faust said, taking them from her hand and setting them aside in the corner of the room. He gathered the bottom of her dress in his hands and lifted it over her head. He was so efficient in stripping off her bra and panties she didn’t have time to protest.

“Go potty,” he instructed before opening the small linen closet to pull out a couple of big thirsty towels and a washcloth.

She waited for him to step outside so she could use the toilet, but he simply set the towels on the edge of the tub. When he leaned over to turn off the water, she knew that was her last chance to pee before he stood to watch her. Quickly, she took care of her business and returned to his side, embarrassed.

Faust helped her into the tub and got her settled before grabbing the bath set from the vanity. As she scooped the suds close to cover her body self-consciously, he opened the box and plopped the shells onto the top of the bubbles. When they disappeared, he suggested, “Maybe these are for non-sudsy baths? Should we save these for another day?”

“No, Daddy. The mermaids want to play,” she assured him.

“Here, Pixie.” He handed her the three mermaids.

After taking care of the box, Faust knelt by the tub and picked up the washcloth. He dipped it into the water before standing back up and grabbing the hair clip from the counter. She closed her eyes in delight as he smoothed her hair back and away from her face. In seconds, he had it twisted and secured on top of her head.

“Close your eyes and I’ll wash your face first.”

She tried not to let herself wonder how he’d gotten so good at doing hair. Her expression must have given her away as he settled back on his knees.

Following his directions, she squeezed her eyes closed and sighed inwardly as he gently stroked the wet fabric over her features. “I have a younger sister who always wore her hair in pigtails. She was also a crazy kid on the playground. If you totaled it up, I’m sure I spent hours putting the scrunchies back in her hair.”

“Oh. That’s fun.”

“It’s a miracle I didn’t end up as a hair stylist,” he said.

Unable to resist the temptation, Molly peeked at him. Was he kidding?

He wagged his bushy eyebrows at her, and she burst into giggles. “Daddy! I can’t imagine you dyeing hair and waxing eyebrows.”

Again, he chuckled with her. She liked this side of Faust and knew he didn’t share it with very many people. That idea made her feel warm inside.

“Play, Pixie. Can you find the shells?”

While she searched through the suds for a floating shell, he stroked the washcloth down her back. It felt so good. She arched her back silently asking him to continue.

“Pixie, I’m glad you’re here. Whether I’m concerned about your safety or not, I like having you close. Think about staying here with your Daddy.”

“Permanently?” she asked, turning her head to look at him.

“Yes, Little girl. I don’t ever want to lose you.”

“I have a morals clause in my contract. They could fire me any time,” she shared quietly.

“That would be a very bad move on their part,” he said in a voice instantly dark with anger.

“It’s a church. I understood it when I signed it. Forget I brought it up. If I have to choose between you and my job… I have to work to survive, Faust.”

He finished her back and shifted in front of her slightly. “Mermaids in your right hand. How about if we worry about what might happen when it does? I’m here for you, Pixie. I won’t flake out.”

A snort of laughter burst from her. When Faust paused as he washed her left arm and looked at her in concern, she said, “That was funny. You could never be a flake.”

“No,” he agreed as he washed all her fingers, massaging them.

That should not feel so good. She sighed with enjoyment as she dropped the mermaids to the bottom of the tub.

He swept the washcloth over her wrist and up her arm. On the downward stroke, his fingers brushed the side of her sensitive breast. Molly bit her bottom lip to keep a moan from escaping.

“No biting,” he told her. “Let Daddy hear your sweet sounds. Right arm, now.”

She extended it across her body eagerly and Faust repeated his soothing finger massage before washing her arm. Molly held her breath waiting to see where he would clean next. The air flooded back into her lungs as he stroked the soft terrycloth over her collarbones. Why did it feel so different when he washed her?

Faust swirled the washcloth around her small breasts and down her torso. When he reached her mound, he didn’t hesitate but swept the cloth between her lower lips. The feel of the material changed there as the nubby fabric stroked over her most sensitive parts. She could feel warmth gathering between her thighs that had nothing to do with his carefully chosen water temperature.
