Rubbing at his temples, he lay back on the bed, still watching her. She must have been in a deep sleep as she’d not once woken up.

Aria was using this time with him to have sex, to rid herself of her virginity, which he’d done. He still couldn’t believe he’d fucked her.

He’d taken something so precious. No other man could have it. It belonged to him, all him. Regardless if Aria believed him or not, they were both connected now. He was her first, and she wouldn’t forget him.

Max had his own agenda for this weekend. One of which, was happening now. He’d never slept with a woman all night. This was the first time he’d done this, and with Aria, it felt right. It felt like he was supposed to be here.

She was the first woman, and he loved watching her sleep. She didn’t make any sounds. So quiet and tranquil.

Just as he was about to touch her face again, his cell phone began to buzz.

“Shit!” He whispered the word but had seen Aria open her eyes. “It’s my cell phone.”

She nodded. She pointed at her lips, keeping them closed.

Climbing out of bed, he grabbed his cell phone, seeing it was Trey calling him. If he ignored the call, his friend would keep on calling.

“I’ve got to take this. It’s Trey.”

“I’ll be quiet.” Aria sat up in bed, pulling the sheet against her chest and hiding those beauties from him.

When Trey finally knew about them, he was going to punch him in the balls.

Clicking “accept,” he put the cell phone to his ear.

“Any reason you’re waking me up?” Max asked.

“It’s nine-fifteen, and you sound awake.”

“Only because your call woke me up.” He watched Aria as she checked the time, and she was clearly surprised at how late she’d slept. She looked so incredibly adorable. She held the clock up to him and mouthed a “wow” at him.

He nodded.

“Are you listening to me?” Trey asked.

“Nope, not even a little bit.”

“Are you with a woman?”

“No. I’m falling asleep because you’ve got one of those voices that were designed to read bedtime stories. How does June stay awake with you?”

Aria was smiling and shaking her head at him. She climbed out of bed, wrapping the blanket around her. He wasn’t having any of that. She went to pass, and he caught the sheet. There was a small tug, and with the cell phone to his ear, she had to stay quiet. He played all innocent until she finally dropped the blanket, rolled her eyes at him, and walked into the bathroom, giving him a very sexy view of her ass.

“You’re with someone,” Trey said.

“I’m not with anyone. I’m taking a mini-vacation. I’ll be back Sunday night, possibly Monday morning. We’ll see. I just needed to get away.”

“Are you bumping into Aria while you’re away?”

It was on the tip of his tongue to say no and fast. He had to play it cool. “No, why? Where’s Aria?”

“You didn’t know she’d taken a mini-vacation too?”

“Didn’t know. She clearly needed it though. Did you see how tired she was looking? She no longer looked like a twenty-five-year-old. Anyway, I’ve got to go. I’ve got a lot of sleep to catch up on. I’m turning my cell phone off. Give my love to all.” He quickly turned his device off as Aria leaned around the door.

“Do you think he knows?”

Max looked at her. “Stop hiding from me.”

She rolled her eyes. “I’m not hiding.”

“Then come here.”

She sighed. She stepped around the door, and he smiled in victory. “How long were you awake?” she asked.

“A couple of minutes.”

“Just a couple of minutes?” she asked.

“Maybe a few hours. I forget. I don’t sleep well.”

“You were watching me sleep?”

“Busted.”

“Why?”

“I think you’re a very pretty woman, and I like watching you sleep.” He cupped her ass, drawing her close. Pressing his lips to hers, he liked the feel of her body against his. Someone knocked on the door of their hotel room, and she groaned. “I may have also ordered room service to arrive at this time.”

He moved her toward the bathroom, closing the door, as he grabbed the blanket, wrapping it around his waist. Opening the door, he allowed the guy to wheel in the cart. It was nothing overly fancy as he couldn’t afford too much, but it was enough to make them both feel pampered. He gave the guy a tip, closing and locking the door behind him.

Aria stepped out of the bathroom.

The scents of waffles and bacon filled the air.

“You hungry?”

“Yes.”

“Let’s share breakfast.” This was another of his firsts. He’d shared breakfast with the guys, as well as June and Molly, but they didn’t count. They were not available women, and he had no interest in them whatsoever.

“You thought of everything.”

“This is our vacation.”

“What did Trey say to you?” she asked, as she took a sip of her coffee.
