Drinks are served. The insults get worse. And I...find myself no longer able to care.
Nothing matters now.
Nothing else except for the way my sex is now aching and soaking wet, with Aidan's fingers inching closer and closer but never quite touching—-
I bite my lip hard in an effort to control myself, but it's hard. The ache inside of me just keeps getting worse. And I just want him so, so bad—-
"Bill's here," I hear Jack declare.
I squeeze my eyes shut. Keep it together, Raffi.
"But don't worry, man," Harold sneers. "We won't make you pay a penny."
The night's about to end. You can do this.
"We don't think you can afford it anyway," Jack taunts.
You can do this, you can—-no, I can't, I just have to—-
I jerk forward in my chair, hard enough to make the table rattle a bit, and I can see that Aidan even looks a little stunned as the sudden movement causes the distance between his fingers and my throbbing sex to disappear in an instant.
Finally!
His fingers are now on my sex, and it feels so, so, so—-
Aidan yanks his fingers off.
No!!!!
He shoots to his feet and pulls me up with him. "I'm sorry," he says roughly. "But we have to go."
I choke out a laugh when I see the wild look of lust in his gaze.
Serves you right, Wyoming Keanu!
Jack tries to stop us, of course, but because he and everyone else are already drunk, Aidan and I have the easiest time shaking them off, and we're out of Y + K in moments.
Aidan looks at me, asking abruptly, "Do you have a car?"
I shake my head. "We can book an Uber—-"
But Aidan's already flagging down a cab, and he practically drags me in the backseat with him. "Give the driver your address, baby."
"Um..." I actually have to shake my head a few times before I can get my brain cells to work, and as soon as I give the driver my address—-
Aaaaaaaaaah.
I'm on his lap, Aidan is gripping my hair, and we're kissing.
Finally.
Chapter Eleven
I love how Aidan kisses. It's never too wet, never ever sloppy, and always too impossibly hot for me to handle that my mind simply ceases to function. But most of all, what I love is seeing and feeling what happens when I'm kissing him back.
It shouldn't have been the same for him, but it is. He hungers for me the way I do. Feels out of control like I do. When we kiss, it's just him and me, the two of us driving each other crazy with every little thing we do.
I've always tried to hide what I really feel when I'm this close to another man. I've always thought that I needed to play it safe so that if a man ever chooses to throw me away, I know I've kept a small part of me safe and untouched.
But with Aidan, it's just impossible to hold back. Just no way to hide anything when Aidan is giving me all of him. He wants me so, and he wants me to know this. It's in the fierce strength of his desire as he grips my hair. The force of his need as he kisses me. He wants me so much that I even hear it in the way his own breathing turns into harsh pants as I nibble on his lip and suck on his tongue.
I've never thought myself capable of being wild and wanton, but with Aidan it's as if I can be anyone I want to be...and whatever I will be, he'd always want and need.
When we reach my apartment building, I can't help but laugh as Aidan helps me out of the cab, and I finally see what minutes of making out in the backseat have reduced us to. Aidan looks like he's just walked out of a tornado with his badly mussed hair, crumpled shirt, and...whoa.
A giggle escapes me. "You have lipstick here..." There's a light pink smudge on one corner of his mouth, but when I try to reach up and rub it off, he only captures my hand and presses a kiss to my knuckles.
"Leave it," he says with a wicked glint in his eyes. "I like wearing my woman's mark."
Oh dear God, how swoonworthy can this man get?
"You're too perfect." I almost sound like I'm complaining, but it's only because he really is too good to be true, and it's bad for my heart.
"Save those words for the bedroom, baby." Aidan's already pulling me towards the entrance doors while speaking, and my heart beats fast and hard in a mixture of giddiness and nervous excitement. I just can't believe I'm with Aidan again, and unlike before, there's nothing and no one else to stop us from coming together.
I swipe my card inside the elevator, and as soon as the display button for my floor lights up, Aidan backs me into a corner and bends his head to start sucking on my neck.
