“Time to get up, pet.” I place two soft kisses up her leg. This is exactly the distraction I need after the long night. Simmons’ numbers still linger in the back of my mind. He needs to find a better deal. A better reason for me to walk away. I open my mouth wider, kissing the back of her calf. Her skin is so damn smooth. Another lick and a bite to her flesh has her squirming in her sleep.

“Wake up, Jensen. I need you awake when I eat your pussy raw.” I wonder if she can feel my growing smile as I brush my lips against her skin. She begins stirring with each caress of my mouth. “God, your skin is like silk against my tongue.”

Little muffles fall from her mouth. “Damien,” she moans. My cock jumps at the thought of her dreaming about me.

“Yeah, sweetheart?” I kiss her inner knee.

“Damien,” she says again. Her eyes are still closed. Her legs become restless. She lowers her arms and drags her fingers down her belly. Fuck, if she starts fondling herself, I’m gonna fucking lose it. Her hands make it to the base of her pubic bone, my name falling off her lips once again.

“I want your fingers inside you. Now,” I demand. The need to see her fuck herself is blinding me. I sit back, taking my hands and clamping down on her thighs. “Now, Jensen.” I’m about to lose it. She’s still half asleep, but I can’t wait. I dip my head as her eyes begin to blink open.

“Good morn—”

She screams.

And then cocks her leg back and releases, kick-punching me in the eye.

Her strength surprises me as she sends me flying backward off the bed. “Christ!” I holler, hitting the floor, holding my eye.

“Holy shit, Damien? Where—what—wh—”

“What the fuck, Jensen?” I stand, cupping my stinging face.

She looks confused. “I’m sorry, I…you startled me. I didn’t realize where I was. Speaking of, how did I get up here?” She looks around. Her eyes lower to her attire and she realizes she’s only dressed in the lingerie. She jumps forward grabbing the bedsheet to cover herself. “Why don’t I have clothes on? And what…what were you doing?”

“Staring at you while you moaned my name.”

Her cheeks blaze crimson. “I was…I was not.”

“I beg to differ. Tell me what I was doing to you in your dream.”

Her embarrassment grows like a wildfire across her face “I…nothing.”

“Lies,” I growl, now angry she won’t comply and tell me what I demand to know. I give her my back and walk away in search of ice. It’s probably for the best. I don’t think I could have been able to stop myself from indulging in a forbidden playtime with her. When I return, she’s still in my bed. I’m sure she’s attempted to find her clothes, but I threw them out. She shouldn’t be wearing such ratty clothes.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…uh, hit you.” I don’t jump at the chance to accept her apology. My face stings and the last thing I need is a black eye. “I said I was sorry. Geez, no need to throw daggers, pal.”

My angry eyes slice through hers. “I’m not your pal. You call me that again, and you’ll regret it.”

Her eyes light with defiance. I shouldn’t be shocked. Her lips part as she debates defying me. She wants to obey, but we both know she doesn’t have it in her.

“Pal.”

The single word barely falls from her lips before I’m on her, taking her down. Her back hits my sheets, and I straddle her small frame, holding her down. Each hand wraps around her wrists, and I pull her arms above her head cuffing them above her. “You don’t listen very well.”

Her chest rises and falls in short pants. “I’ve been told that a time or two.”

I can’t stop staring at her plump lips. “I won’t tolerate disobedience. From anyone.” The urge to flip her and color her pale skin with my palm is overwhelming.

“Looks like this isn’t going to work out then. We can just forget this whole contract deal.”

Her response irritates me. The way she denies me infuriates me. She should feel privileged to have captured my attention, but instead, she acts ungrateful and put out. Exhaustion is catching up to me and I don’t have the patience to deal with her childish bullshit. “You’re right.” I jump off her. “Get dressed. I’ll have Fredrick call you a cab.” I head to my dresser to grab her a pair of my sweatpants and a shirt to wear out of here. She can burn them once she’s home for all I care.

“Wait, why? You’re sending me home? That’s it?”

I toss the pair of sweats at her. “That’s it.” I look around for where I set my phone.

“You make this whole spectacle about demanding I’m yours for a whole month, and now you’re just done?” She’s up and kneeling on the bed.
