I can’t help but laugh as I knock her shoulder with my own. “You’re such an idiot,” I say as we start making the walk up to the school gates.
“It’s true,” she insists. “I just followed you in the lot and the way your ass just claims the seat of your bike in these dope leather pants … damn. I wish my ass looked like that.”
I stop walking and let her go ahead before dropping my gaze over her ass and instantly shaking my head. I hurry to catch up with her. “What the hell are you talking about? You have the tightest ass I’ve ever seen. I bet bikini season is your favorite time of the year.”
A smug smile stretches across her face as she peers over at me. “I’m not going to lie; I am fond of a good bikini.”
I roll my eyes. “Why am I not surprised?”
The people around us start slowing and looking back at the student parking lot and out of curiosity, I find myself doing the same. I regret it instantly.
Carver’s black Escalade pulls into the lot, and just like every other time I’ve seen the guys, people start flocking toward them. I can’t help but groan. I don’t get it … okay, I kinda get it. The guys are freaking hot. The girls want to be the closest thing to them when they’re ready to fuck, while guys all over are wanting to be the one who they draw into their inner circle.
No one has a chance in hell. Though somehow, King was more than willing to throw me up against the side of a house and screw me until we couldn’t breathe.
A fond grin stretches across my face as we watch the Escalade come to a stop right beside my Ducati, just as it had done yesterday, only this time, Carver was smart enough not to block my bike in. Though I have to admit, I made it a little harder this time. If he wanted to block my bike again, he would have had to block the whole road, and while he’s definitely a douche, he doesn’t strike me as stupid.
The guys climb out of the Escalade, and I don’t miss the way Carver’s sharp gaze travels over my bike, but my attention is quickly stolen when King walks around the back of the Escalade to meet his friends. He instantly raises his head as if he can sense me watching, and as his deep blue eyes pierce through mine, I’m hit with the memory of his cock sinking deep inside of me as I screamed out his name.
A thrill pulses through me and I’m forced to clench my thighs to relieve the ache rapidly building between them.
I don’t know how, but looking at the way he’s watching me now, it’s clear as day that he’s thinking about exactly the same thing. He winks and my fucking cheeks flame bright red. Red? Me? What the fuck? I’m not that chick who blushes over a guy. What’s gotten into me?
Carver looks up at King before following his gaze to me with a strange confusion in his eyes and judging by the way King instantly looks away, it’s clear that he hasn’t told his friends what went down between us last night, only making the grin on my face stretch wider.
I wonder what would happen if the oh-so-ever disapproving Carver knew that one of his best friends, one of the very people who are supposed to have his back, snuck through my bedroom window to fuck the absolute shit out of me until we were completely spent?
Interesting. I wonder what he’d think if we did it again?
Carver’s stare narrows and I raise my chin, more than ready to throw down the challenge and walk my ass down there, only to screw King on the hood of Carver’s precious Escalade. Now, that sounds like the best idea I’ve had in ages.
“Dude,” Ember says, clicking in front of my face to get my attention, instantly robbing me of my plan to seduce King, though if I’m honest, I don’t think it would take much convincing. King and I were like two flames coming together to create an inferno of all things sexy as hell. I’d pay just to experience that again. “What the fuck is going on with you? Have you even heard a word that I’ve been saying?”
Whoops.
“Umm … no. Sorry,” I laugh. “I was distracted.”
“Yeah,” she scoffs. “Clearly. What’s your deal with Carver and those guys? You know everyone has been talking about your little showdown with them yesterday after school. I got like fifty texts all through the night, asking me if I knew what was going down.”
“Oh, it’s nothing,” I say, turning back to face the school and picking up my pace once again. “Carver was just trying to make a point that he’s the boss around here, and I just kindly let him know that I didn’t give a shit.”
