She takes the tweezers and fixes me with a stare, as if warning me not to make a sound.

“And after I’ve made you come with my mouth—”

“Beau!” She drops the tweezers onto poor old Sam.

I hold up my hands. “I’m not touching you, not even a little nudge.”

She rolls her eyes and picks up the tweezers. I let her settle back into the game, narrowing her eyes in concentration as she inches toward the ribs.

“I’m going to strip you naked and bend you over this sofa,” I whisper. The visual makes my dick twitch in approval. I know she doesn’t want anything romantic to happen between us and neither do I…but… “You’re going to be so wet because you’ll already have come so hard, but I’m going to reach between your legs, just to make sure. Maybe I’ll play with you a little while, tease you for a bit because I like to hear you beg for my cock—”

“There.” She drops the ribs on the table and turns to me, triumphant. “And for the record, you’re never going to hear me beg for anything.”

I hold her gaze. “We’ll see.”

“It’s your turn,” she says. “I’m on a winning streak.”

“Not for long,” I say.

She lifts her jumper and takes it over her head.

I realize she means business. I laugh. “Oh, you’ve come over to the dark side now, have you?” Underneath her cashmere top, she’s braless in a tight cotton tank top, her nipples pressing against the fabric. I can feel myself lengthen against the denim of my jeans.

“I don’t know what you mean.”

I turn my attention back to the game, but really all I want to do is reach over and touch her. I turn the next card over. “Wishbone.” Fuck, I’ve never been good at this one.

She grabs a cube of ice from the wine bucket. “It’s so hot in here, isn’t it?”

I glance up to find her running an ice cube down her neck and along her collarbone.

I look away and pick up the tweezers. I can’t lose this game. I spent at least a decade of my life playing this with four brothers. I’m prepared for anything.

I dip my tweezers when Vivian lets out a contented groan, like she’s about four seconds away from the best orgasm of her life. The sound vibrates in my balls.

Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.

I look across at her, her teeth buried in her bottom lip, a gleam in her eyes.

“Outrageous,” I say.

She shrugs. “I don’t know what you mean. Rules are rules. My turn.”

She shifts to pick up the card and I know I’m a goner. Her breasts are like perfectly round, over-sized peaches, and I just want to sink my teeth into her and feel the juice drip off my chin. Fuck, she’s gorgeous.

She goes for the wishbone and part of me wants to let her have it so we can skip the games and get naked. I need to control myself.

“How many times do you think you’ll come? Three? Four.”

She smiles but keeps her hands steady.

“When they ask about me in interviews, you’ll get wet just thinking about what I can do with your body. You’ll be sitting there, a hundred people looking at you, lights beating down, and all you’ll be able to think about is me and how good I make you feel.”

Her breathing is shallow. She’s a step away from panting. She pulls out the wishbone and looks at me like she wants me. And I know because I’m looking at her the exact same way.

All I can think about is kissing her. All I want to feel is her lips on mine, her arse in my hands, her legs wrapped around my waist.

“Vivian, I’m going to—”

I don’t get to finish my sentence because there’s a knock at the door.

She glances at me, a sheen of panic in her expression. She grabs her jumper and pulls it over her head as she goes to the door.

Fuck.

I try and will my hard-on away as a waiter appears, pushing a trolley, and sets up the dining table for us.

I manage to stand and tip him before he leaves.

“I can do that,” she says. “Tip him, I mean.”

“Okay, but I did it.”

She doesn’t say anything and I follow her over to the dining table. We take our seats—her at the head of the table and me next to her, opposite the window. Our knees touch and neither of us moves away.

“We need to eat or—” She stops what she’s saying and dishes me up some of the pasta we ordered.

“Yeah,” I agree. “We’re both…”

“Hungry?” she suggests on a laugh.

“Yeah. I’m starving,” I say, laughing back.

“So you used to play Operation with your brothers and you’d do anything to win?”

“Yeah.” I pause. “Not like that obviously. I mean, we’d say there was a spider about to fall on their head or we’d shoot each other with water pistols.”
