“Why are you fighting your feelings for me? We’ve known each other for years! I’m not some girl you’ve just met, and you know it. You may think you can hide your feelings from me, but you can’t, all right?” I pointed at myself. “I know you and I also know all this time we’ve spent together wasn’t a waste.”

“Oh my God! Jenny, what the hell do you want from me?”

“To say what you feel! To admit it! It’s not hard, just say it!”

“I can’t do that!”

“Why the hell not?”

“For fuck’s sake, Jenny! Just stop. All right? You’ve made your point.”

“I’m not stopping anything until you say it. I have all night.”

“GODDAMNIT!” he shouted. “ALL RIGHT!” His voice was louder than I’d ever heard it before. He dropped his trunks and then charged for me.

He clasped my face in his hands, and his mouth crushed mine instantly.

He left no time for me to protest. He guided my body towards the bed again, climbing on top of me, bringing me right to the middle again. He started to work up a thrust between my thighs again, grinding slow, measuredly.

“Fine,” he growled, breaking the kiss. His lips were raw and wet. “Fine, Jenny. I fucking love you, all right? I love you, and I’m fucking scared for you to know it.”

I watched his face, how doubt filled his eyes. “You think I don’t feel the same?” I questioned.

“I don’t know,” he mumbled.

“But I do.” I bobbed my head, smiling. “I do, Drake. I love you, too. Okay? I love you. You shouldn’t be afraid to tell me.”

His mouth twitched. He wanted to smile when I said that, but he remained casual. His mouth latched onto mine, and I held him tight, moving my body closer to his.

He was at my entrance again, hard, ready.

“You’re sure?” he breathed again.

I nodded, and this time I really was positive about it.

“I’ll be gentle.” His breath ran past my ear. His eyes were still on mine, his tip slowly pushing in. I flinched and unintentionally pushed his shoulder, but he reached up and clasped my hand in his. “It’s okay.”

My throat was thick, but the gentleness of his voice gave me a sensation I couldn’t ignore. It made me feel safe and protected—like he would never let anything happen to me.

He continued sliding in gently, and each inch of him stretched me more and more. It stung a little, and I hissed quietly, but he’d kiss me when I’d react, so tenderly I never wanted him to stop.

The pain was bearable—the stretch hardly noticeable whenever his mouth met mine.

When he was completely inside me, he remained absolutely still. He groaned and breathed raggedly, his head dropping.

“Fuck,” he rumbled.

“What?”

“You’re so tight, baby.”

His hips moved unhurriedly, allowing me to work with him, loosen me up a bit. He was gentle like he said, his strokes light, not too deep yet. He was perched up on one elbow, our fingers still entwined above my head.

Soon, his light stroking wasn’t enough. He picked up his pace, and I moaned as his tongue slid between my lips. It was the perfect combination: his tender kisses with his full, deep strokes.

He was grunting, cursing as he hit certain depths, and I watched every face he could make.

His pleasure was evident, and I was happy to know that I could provide it. A girl like me, a virgin, pleasing the merciless Doomsday.

This moment was like none other. All that time I’d spent with him amounted to this single moment.

There was no more tension. There weren’t any more doubts or suspicions.

Here, in this bedroom of mine, something had budded, and it was big and bright and so beautiful.

It was mutual trust.

A unique connection.

It was true love.

I didn’t want it to end, but it had to eventually, and when it did, it was glorious.

Drake came, and all of his muscles locked as he squeezed my hand tighter in his. Veins bulged on his neck and arms, and his groan was so soft and sweet, something I didn’t think he would be capable of.

Soft and sweet just didn’t match him, but it was great to be a witness to it. His vulnerability. His affection as he held me close, shuddering above me. His soft, damp kisses on my lips as he stroked in once more.

It proved to me that he did love me.

That he meant what he said.

He wasn’t rough at all. He was amazing.

And this…this moment was everything I’d longed for and more.

It was perfection.

Chapter 19

Drake

I wasn’t sure how I felt about taking Jenny’s virginity…at first.

I’d never had sex with a virgin before, but knowing that I was first to take it gave me something I hadn’t felt in a long time.

Pride.

No other man could say he took something that sacred from the girl I fell in love with.
