A devilish grin crosses her face as her hand comes up and cups her breast, squeezing it and rubbing her nipple between her fingers, the same way I would have done had it been my hands on her body. Those hungry, blue eyes remain locked on mine, but I’m far too busy watching her body.

Leaning back, her hand starts traveling down her body, and I watch with bated breath as she moves the fabric of her thong out of the way. She sucks in a gasp before pressing two fingers to her exposed clit and rubbing little circles.

The view has my hand pumping faster and tighter on my cock, desperate for more. Sophie lets out a moan and her eyes close in satisfaction before she lowers her hand just a little further. Her eyes open and she watches me as those same two fingers push into her entrance, coming out glistening before making their way back in.

Fuck, seeing her this turned on has me wanting to cross the kitchen and plunge deep inside her, but then I also want to watch until the end. Her other hand comes up and starts caressing her tits once again as the moaning and grunting become more frequent in our quiet kitchen.

Her hand moves faster, but I know she needs more, more than what she can offer herself right now. “Please,” she begs from across the kitchen.

I can’t say no to her.

I make my way to her in two quick strides, grabbing her ass before scooting her right to the edge of the counter, perfectly lined up with my dick. She pulls her fingers out and presses them to her clit as I bury myself deep inside her.

“Holy shit,” she pants. “This is so much better than what I had planned.”

“Bet your sweet ass, it is,” I grunt as I slam into her one last time and come hard, just as she detonates around me.

Chapter 7

SOPHIE

I make my way into my office bright and early, more than ready to blow this case wide fucking open.

While I wait for my computer to power up, I head into the staff kitchen and reach for the coffee pot. Thinking better of it, I put some water on and grab a tea bag instead. I know I’ll need the caffeine today, but this little guy inside me doesn’t appreciate it.

Heading back to my office with my tea in hand, I close the door behind me and prepare for a big day. As much as I love my team here, they can get loud, and the last thing I need is distractions. I need to focus. So I place my tea down on my desk and move every last piece of paper that has nothing to do with the CEO case onto the floor.

Next, I make my way over to my corkboard and take down everything from my previous investigation. I make sure to put it all away in a folder, just in case any of my information is needed in court. After all, one can never be too careful in my line of work.

Ready to get started, I pull my phone out of my bag and attach it to the USB cable connected to my computer, before selecting all the images I wish to transfer over. Seeing as there are so many, I start printing off images of all the people involved and attach them to my corkboard, making sure to put a big red cross over the faces of the deceased because, well, that’s what they do in the movies.

Ten minutes later, once I’ve finished setting myself up, my computer beeps to notify me that the transfer is complete, so I make myself comfortable and get started.

A few hours and a headache later, I finally stumble upon something interesting that could possibly blow this case right out of the water. It seems that a company by the name of CB Construction anonymously bought shares in all of the construction competitor’s companies, each with hidden clauses stating that if the CEO should pass, his or her remaining shares would go to CB Construction. After digging into the background and financials of this company, it becomes clear that it’s a shelf corporation, set up to cover the ass of none other than Christian Baxter.

My brows furrow. I’ve never been one to have an interest in shares, so I have to do some research on the standard practice, but either way my gut is telling me that this isn’t right. No CEO in their right mind would have approved a deal like this, even without knowing if the other party was a direct competitor.

I keep digging into this whole shares thing and realize that with these CEOs dead, Christian is now the anonymous major shareholder of each of these companies and making a shitload of money off it too.
