“Because you are so fucking beautiful, and they are not. Pay them no attention,” he says, pushing the button for the eighteenth floor.

“Okay,” I say, dropping the subject.

Exiting the elevator, I follow him to apartment 1801, immediately to the left of the bank of elevators. Inside, is the most amazing view of the city I have ever seen.

“What a kick-ass view. You get to look at this every day?” I ask, like a moron. He’s making me nervous for what’s about to come. I feel like I need to speed this along so that I am the one in control. He has too much power.

“I barely notice it anymore,” he says walking over to his wet bar. “Drink?”

“I’ll have a Harvey Wallbanger, please,” I tell him. I’ve only been eighteen for about a month, but since that’s the legal age, I’ve already had about fifteen Wallbanger’s, most of which was on the night of my birthday party.

“That’s a pretty adult drink,” he says, chuckling.

“Well, I am an adult,” I say, refraining from pouting like I want to. Why does he bring that out in me? Why the fuck does he bring out anything in me? I don’t know him from Adam, but God do I want to.

“So you are,” he says, pouring the Galliano and a new brand of vodka, Absolut. It’s only been in America for about two months, but the advertisements are everywhere. Then he fills the rest of the glass with orange juice. I walk over to him and take the glass from him. I sip slowly because something tells me that I am going to want to have my wits about me for whatever the hell is about to go down.

“Thank you,” I say, setting the glass back down on the bar.

“Are you hungry?” he asks.

“No, not at all. I just had that popsicle,” I remind him.

“But you didn’t get to finish it,” he reminds me.

“I’m good.”

“Do you want to call your parents?”

“Not yet,” I say because I know that the second, I do, my father will demand to know where I am and then he’ll show up and make me leave. I refuse to leave without knowing how this ends up. It’s still daylight anyhow. I won’t be missed until much later.

“It’ll be better to get that out of the way now, Giada. You aren’t going to be leaving.”

“Uh-huh,” I say, stepping out of my sandals. I plan to distract him from that train of thought.

“What are you doing?” he asks when I start to pull my dress over my head.

“I think you know what I am doing, Jimmy,” I tell him. Pulling my bra off as well. I stand before him in just my tiny white cotton panties. They are obscenely stuck to me, but when I start to shimmy out of those, he growls and clenches his fists at his sides.

“You don’t have to do this yet, Giada. I was going to wait until you were ready.”

“Don’t I look ready?”

“Very much so.”

“Do you think I’m pretty?” I ask, twirling my hair around my finger.

“You know that I do,” he says, causing me to smile.

“Do I? Are you just gonna stand over there and stare at me? Or are you going to come over here and take what’s yours?”

He smirks at me then lunges for me. God, this is going to be so good.

Chapter Three

Jimmy

She looks like a treasure that’s about to be hoarded. As I reach her, I splay my large hand on her belly and bask in the feel of her. My cock is already hard as a rock in pants just thinking about sliding into her, making her mine, breeding her. Her mouth opens a little bit, so I reach around her back and pull her so that she is flush with my body.

“I’m taking you to bed, Giada and I’m not letting you out of it. Do you understand?”

“You seem to be wearing a lot more clothes than me, Jimmy. It’s not fair,” she says

instead.

“We’ll get to that, baby. Answer me.”

“Let’s get to that now.” I wrap my hand around her throat again. I hate how much I like it there, but it gets her attention as her eyes widen. “Fine, I understand,” she whispers.

“I don’t think you understand what’s about to happen, Giada. I am going to fuck you, then I am going to marry you. You’ll probably be full of my kid before that happens, but it is what it is.”

“Why would I do that?” she sasses.

“Do what?”

“Marry you. I’ve heard all about your conquests on Page Six of The New York Times. Why would I want to marry you? How could I ever be sure I’d be the only one? Besides, you’re only thirty. You have plenty of time.”

“It’s all gossip, Giada. I’m not going to lie and say I’ve never been with a woman, but the paper tends to exaggerate, I swear. I haven’t been with a woman in over ten years. I give you my fucking word you’ll be the only woman on my dick. You are mine and in return I am yours, just yours. You have beguiled me, Giada. No one has ever turned me on as much as you have.” She shivers.
