Like some sort of bragging and pissing contest. My cheeks flame hot red.

“Four times?” Lake shouts out, gaining the attention of the rest of the crowd.

“Shh,” I say. “Can we stop talking about our sex life?” I ask Brock.

Brock’s chest is a bit puffed out, and he does look proud. “Sure thing.”

My mind shifts for a moment. I wonder if Brock could make me come four times in one afternoon. If I’m being honest, I’m going to guess no. Not because I think Brock might be lacking talent in the bedroom. He’s probably really good.

Oh god.

I glance down at his package, and immediately snap my eyes up to his face. My cheeks are still red, and I swear they grow even hotter as my mind races with thoughts of how Brock could get me off.

Honestly, I’ve never had more than two orgasms in one sexual encounter. And those two times were never with Lake.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure one day Lake would make some other girl really happy. Just not me. We were like oil and water in the bedroom.

I wonder if Brock and I would be too. Sometimes I think it might be me. Maybe I’m the issue. Maybe I’ve never had a man take charge and give me four orgasms just because he can.

This isn’t a romance novel. This is real life.

There’s nobody that can rock my world like that.

Especially not Brock.

But he does have really big hands.

Later in the evening, we’re all situated around a big table, chatting away about the earlier scavenger hunt.

Anya and Griffin won the scavenger hunt, of course, and I honestly think they won because Anya is such a go-getter. She’s a determined little thing, and Griffin is too.

“He’s so cute,” I say, looking into the little baby carrier, holding Shepherd and Felicity’s new son, August. “I love the name.”

Felicity’s eyes light up. “Thank you. We love him.” She gazes up at Shepherd, and I honestly think the two of them are just perfect for one another.

I look around the table at the Atwood brothers. Callum’s the oldest, and just got off the plane a few hours ago to join in the festivities. He’s a complete workhorse, and honestly, Hartford wasn’t sure he’d even make it to Vegas at all. He runs the Atta Boy Brewery and Restaurant, owning it with his father and a few other investors. Shepherd, Paxton, and Griffin run it alongside him, but Callum is the most involved. I don’t think he’s ever taken a complete day off.

He swipes at his phone, engrossed in the screen, and I’m willing to bet he’s working from his phone right now.

Shepherd’s the second oldest, and has lived next door to Felicity for as long as I can remember. They used to never get along, until one night everything changed. I don’t know the whole story, but I do know they recently had a baby, August, and brought him to Vegas with them, along with Felicity’s mother to watch the baby so they can hang out with the wedding party.

Paxton’s next, and this man could charm the blossoms from the trees in the dead of winter. He’s known Hartford his whole life. They’ve been besties since kindergarten, and now they’re getting married. I honestly want to cry when I think about it.

Anya’s next in line, and she started dating Griffin not too long ago. He’s been a friend of the Atwood family since high school, and they had a rough go at it in the beginning, trying to keep their relationship hidden from her older brother, Callum. But everything’s worked out, and they are so cute together. Griffin’s the head chef at Atta Boy Brewery, and Anya works the private events.

Brock is next, and he works at the brewery too. He makes all the delicious beer that I love to drink. I’ve known Brock for years, being best friends with his sister, Anya. But we’ve never really gotten along. As I stare at Brock talking with his younger brother, Tripp, I’m not even sure why we don’t get along.

Tripp is the youngest, and honestly, I don’t really know him all that well. He’s always just kind of been there. I know he’s too young to drink, and I know he’s not very happy about it.

I study Brock as we all sit here having dinner, and my previous thoughts trickle back into my brain. What would Brock be like in the bedroom?

Would he be able to get the job done?

Would I like it?

I focus on Brock’s hands as he casually spins his beer bottle in one hand, and has the other traipsed lazily on the back of my chair. His fingers trace small circles on my shoulder, and it sort of gives me the chills.

My eyes meet Lake’s from across the table, and I stiffen in my chair. He studies me, studying Brock, and I square my shoulders, leaning in to rest my hand on Brock’s lap.
