I need the emotion.

I need the entanglement.

I want the mess.

And I want it all with Brock Atwood.

He keeps fucking me, screwing me against the door in this small closet, and I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I know it’s not forever with Brock, but it’s for right now. And right now this beast of a man is fucking me like a primal animal. His grunts are heavy, and his force behind every drive of his hips is ferocious.

I train kisses all over his face, my lipstick leaving marks and it makes me happy. Makes me feel like I’m marking him as mine.

I see the way other women look at him. He’s gorgeous, and I love that I’m leaving these traces of me all over him.

“Willow, the way your tight cunt squeezes my cock is insane. I’m gonna come, baby,” he says, squeezing my ass tighter in his hands.

“Me too,” I say, my orgasm so close I can almost feel it. “So close,” I say as I feel myself tipping over the edge of insanity. My orgasm crashes into me, blindsiding me as I lock eyes with Brock.

“You’re so hot when you come. Keep coming all over me.” He rocks into me a few more times, and then his eyes glaze over, his teeth gripping his bottom lip between them. “Fuck, you have no idea what you’re doing to me,” he whispers as he gives one final thrust.

He’s coming, and it’s glorious.

I love watching this man unravel before me. Unfolding. Unyielding. Completely unaware of the love I have for him.

It’s okay, though. I know how to keep a secret, and it’s one I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. Because I’d rather keep this love deep inside than risk losing Brock as a friend by telling him the truth.

I can’t bear the thought of losing any of the Atwoods. So, I’ll keep it a secret.

After we’ve calmed, and cleaned ourselves up—thank god the room had a sink with clean towels—we make our way back out into the hallway.

Before we head into the reception area, Brock stops me.

“I know this relationship is all fake, and we’re just fooling everyone so you didn’t have to deal with Lake, but I need to talk to…” before Brock can finish his sentence, the room erupts into applause, and Paxton and Hartford appear out of thin air.

“The happy couple,” somebody yells into the ever-growing crowd.

“We can talk about this later,” Brock says, grabbing my hand. “It’s showtime.”

Chapter 26

Brock

“To Paxton and Hartford,” Shepherd says, lifting his shot glass.

My brothers and I are standing at the bar, tossing back shots to celebrate the first of us to tie the knot.

The reception has been a blast so far. Plenty of dancing, drinking, and laughing. When my arms haven’t been wrapped around Willow, I’ve been watching her from afar. Partly because I want to make sure Lake doesn’t corner her again and partly because it’s impossible for me to not seek her out in a crowd. Watching her sexy body move as she dances with her friends, turns me on. Hearing her sweet laugh even through all the music and talking, makes me want her. Seeing how happy she is and hoping like hell that I’m at least part of the reason why, fills my heart.

After we had sex in the closet, which I had to do because there was no way I would’ve been able to get through this reception with the fire of need I was feeling, I almost told her I wanted this fake relationship to be real. There’s nothing fake about it anymore and I wanted to wait until we were back in the room but I was overwhelmed with feelings after and it almost came out. But I was interrupted, which was obviously a sign that I should wait until it’s just us alone in the room tonight.

“Do you feel different?” Tripp asks Paxton.

“I’ve been married for a few hours and have been partying since, so no, not yet,” Paxton says, laughing.

“I can’t believe my little brother is married. I’m so happy for you and Hartford,” Callum says, wrapping his arm around Paxton.

“Yeah, you set the bar high for all of us,” I say with a wide grin.

“I have a baby and I’m living with Felicity, I think I set the bar kinda high too,” Shepherd replies.

“We’re all finding our way and it’s pretty damn amazing,” Paxton says back.

He’s right, we all are finding our way. He’s married. Shep is a father. Anya is living with Griffin. I’m in love with my fake girlfriend.

I chuckle and hold up my beer. “To growing up.”

We all laugh, but it’s true.

The music switches as the DJ says, “Grab your partner.”

My eyes meet Willow’s and I grin as I cross the room to her. “Let’s go, beautiful.”
