There was the barest of pinches that reminded me of how long it had been, but it was quickly wiped away by the delicious fullness as his cock slid into me inch by thick inch, filling me completely as I sat down.

“Fuck,” Donovan hissed, his hand flexing on my hip as he took a steadying breath. “You’re so fucking tight,” he added, making my sex clench hard in response, dragging one of those little growls out of him.

There was no thinking then.

My movements were instinctive, uncontrolled.

I followed my desire blindly, riding him harder and faster with each passing moment, our heat steaming up the windows, my moans mingling with his ragged breathing, his little groans of pleasure.

“That’s it,” Donovan murmured as my moans got louder, as my walls started to tighten around him. “Come for me,” he demanded, rocking up slightly into me as I continued my movements.

The intensity of the orgasm caught me off-guard.

It almost seemed to stem from the base of my spine and explode outward until it took over me completely, leaving me crying out with my head thrown back and my thighs shaking as the waves of pleasure kept crashing through me again and again.

Donovan thrust up into me through it until I collapsed into his shoulder, only then did a hiss escape him as he found his own release.

I don’t know how long we sat there like that afterward, with my head buried in his neck, and his arm wrapped lightly around me.

But it was like we both suddenly came back to ourselves at the same exact moment.

We both stiffened.

I yanked backward, looking at him, seeing the same look of worry.

Then I was flying off of his lap, reaching for my panties, then my top as I tossed my phone at Donovan.

I’d called McCoy.

Presumably he, and the rest of the guys, were on their way to the last location I’d given them.

“Roll down the windows,” I demanded, seeing all the fog on them, and knowing it smelled like sex as I jammed my legs into my shorts.

I was so panicked that they might be just around the corner that I yanked my shirt on without my bra, shoving that into Donovan’s glove compartment for safekeeping as I tried to fix my hair, then get the flush off my cheeks by turning the air vent onto my face.

“Fuck,” Donovan said, slamming his head back on the rest after he hung up. “This was good timing,” he said. “They’re literally two fucking minutes away,” he said. “Che remembered this hiding spot.”

“What is this?” I asked, looking around, hoping a distraction might help me feel less flustered.

“Nothing, really. There’s an old burnt-down house a bit up toward the road. But this garage has always been a spot racers knew about when we were trying to outrun the cops. We should get out,” he said then. “It smells like sex in here,” he added, shooting me a devilish little smirk as I all but fell out of the car just as headlights were coming our way.

Everyone flew at us at once.

Not just Alaric, Levee, and Cato, who had been at the clubhouse.

But Huck, Che, Seeley, and Triss.

The rest, presumably, were at the clubhouse, making sure things were secure there.

“The fuck?” Huck said as he walked up.

I was going to say something, but then my sister was flying at me, launching herself into my arms, and sending me flying a few feet backward.

“Oh, my God! Are you okay? We were so worried. I can’t believe this happened. Wait,” she said, smirking as she pulled back, lowering her voice so that only the two of us could hear. “Was the chase so rough that your bra just… flew off?” she asked, wiggling her brows as I felt the flush creep over my cheeks. “I mean, congrats. That man looks like you drained his life force. But… are you okay?”

“I… yeah. I know I shouldn’t be, but I am. It’s almost like the fear and adrenaline…”

“Focused you?” Triss asked. “Now you get why I like it,” she said, linking her arm in mine, and leading me back toward the group who were talking in serious tones.

It wasn’t until they saw us approaching that they all kind of stiffened and moved apart.

“You okay, babe?” Huck asked, jerking his chin up at me.

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

“Do you want Ama to check you out?” Seeley offered.

“Check me out for what?” I asked, brows drawing together, feeling like I was missing something.

“Whiplash or anything like that,” Seeley explained.

“Oh… no. No, I’m fine. Donovan is a good driver,” I said, shrugging.

“Okay,” Huck said, exhaling hard. “If you’re comfortable, Maeve, I want you with Donovan again. Triss, with Che.” He was putting us with their best drivers. Just in case.

All that anxiety I hadn’t felt before suddenly started to creep up on me then.
