Reaching for his dick, he had to snatch her wrist, stopping her.

“You just had your turn, princess,” he reminded her that she was going to have to wait as he shut the water off.

He dried her off quickly before running the towel over himself, not letting his sneaky bride do it, knowing she wouldn’t wait her turn.

Lovingly placing Maria on her back on the middle of her bed, he laid down beside her, then began to rub the pad of his thumb over her pretty, pink nipple until it came to a hard point. He leaned down to take her breast into his mouth, and her eyes rolled to the back of her head when he teasingly lapped at the point.

Fuck, how did she already want him so badly? How many more times did she need to come before that feeling wore off? Right now, she had come three times.

He moved his hand and mouth to the flat of her belly where he played with her piercing. “I still can’t believe your belly button is pierced.”

“Do you like it?” she asked, already knowing the answer, but she couldn’t help asking.

“Yes.” He placed a kiss on the middle of her belly. “It’ll be a shame when you take it off once you’re pregnant.”

Maria laughed, raising up on her elbows. She looked at him as he traveled lower down her waist. “We’ve been married five minutes and you’re already talking about that?”

“Mmhmm.” He spread her legs apart as he went even lower. “I’m thinking … four.”

“Fou—”

Maria’s head fell back when he lapped at her clit.

“Four is a good number.” He spread her folds apart farther. “I know I can handle four.”

“Four!”

Again, Maria’s thoughts left her body when his tongue entered her. Trying to gather her thoughts, she spoke through gritted teeth, “You expect me to pop four babies out of me when you haven’t even asked if I want children or not?”

Dom looked up at her from what he was doing. “Do you?”

“I haven’t really thought about it,” she told him honestly.

“You will,” he said confidently, returning his mouth to her pussy. “And you’ll give me four.”

As much as Maria wanted to be offended right now, the magic he was working on her had her biting back her sarcasm. “What makes you so sure?”

“Because”—he went deeper than before—“you’ll like making them.”

“Mmm …,” Maria moaned, her body betraying her as to how easily he could get her to give in. “If we do—and I’m not saying we will—I only want a girl,” she warned.

Dom pulled back momentarily and smiled. “I don’t think you get to choose, princess.”

“My body wouldn’t betray me like that,” she announced while it was doing that very thing. “I’ll will my body into having a girl.”

“I like girls,” Dom told her softly, having no problem with that. “But you will have girls.”

She was about to fight him on that when he sucked her tender bud into his mouth, knocking her senseless for a moment. She figured she would let it rest for now before she let herself begin to fall deeper, denying herself that she was to the unyielding man.

When he hadn’t even flinched at the thought of only fathering daughters and not sons, it had made Maria’s stomach flutter into a knot. She wished he didn’t have to be so fucking perfect, especially right now as he continued to lap at her. The motions he did with that tongue were only meant to soothe. Having fucked her twice on her first night, she knew it was his way of massaging out the ache.

She moved her hands to his hair, rubbing her fingers through the thick, dark strands, while he continued his lazy motions. As much as she wanted her release, he denied it … until he had his fill of his “heaven,” and he was certain she was done for the night.

Make that four times.

Nothing in his existence had come close to today, and no day ever would, as Maria lay there, sleeping in his arms. Their wedding had been everything he could never have dreamed of, and marrying her was everything he had.

Maria Caruso was everything he thought she would be and then some. But the best part was …

She was finally his.

“I love you,” he whispered the words he could see hurt when he said them while she was awake, because she wasn’t capable of saying them back yet. Maybe there in her dreams … she could.

Fifty-Five

The Throne

Maria’s heels clicked as she entered the room. Taking a seat in front of the desk, she smiled at the man behind it. “Well …”

Reclining back in his chair, the corner of his lips lifted as he brought the cigarette to his lips. “I wondered how long you would be married before you came here,” he said as he raised his arm to check his watch. “Not even twenty-four hours.”
