Dominic only smiled at me then looked down to my chest and smirked. It was hot today, and we were allowed take off our uniform jumpers. I had my school shirt on underneath so when I looked down to see what Dominic was looking at, I gasped.

My stupid bra made it look like my nipples were hard, and they weren't, it was just the material!

"It's the material on me bra," I stated, angrily.

Dominic's grin told me he didn't believe me.

I growled. "I'm serious, it's just the material. Like I would ever be turned on by the likes of you. You aren't me type."

Dominic pulled back a little and drew his eyebrows together. "I'm everyone's type."

I scoffed. "Not mine, now back the fuck away."

He did, but with a grin on his face.

It was only then that I realised he had my school bag in his hand; I blinked.

How the hell did he take the straps off my shoulder without me noticing?

He got close to me to distract me so he could get my bag, the bastard!

"Give it back!" I snarled.

He smiled. "I will… after I look through it."

Before I could move forward and grab the bag or even warn him not to look into it, he stuck his hand inside the bag, rooted around, then pulled out a small box of thumb tacks. An open box of thirty thumb tacks that were missing ten tacks.

"I knew it," he hissed.

I swallowed. "That proves nothin', lots of people have thumbs tacks in their school bags-"

"You're seriously trying to convince me you aren't to blame when I have the evidence in my hand?"

I grunted; he had me on that. "Fine, whatever, it was me."

He growled again.

I threw my hands up in front of me. "It was payback for sayin' me arse is fat."

He just looked at me like I was ten kinds of stupid. "Your ass is phat."

I flushed, he just didn't fucking get it.

"Whether it's fat or not, you don't say it to me. It's a horrible thing to say to a person!"

Dominic rubbed his temples, like our arguing was giving him a bad headache. "I told you two weeks ago in the grocery store that when I say you have a phat ass, I mean it in the best fucking way possible."

I groaned, not understanding his logic. "This here is Ireland, buddy, fat just means fat here!"

He shook his head and glanced at my bag before tossing it back to me, I caught it then closed it up.

"Can I have me thumb tacks back?"

"Nope."

I glared at the thieving bastard. "Fine, whatever, keep them. I didn't want them anyway."

He leaned back against the wall across from me but winced when his arse rested against the wall. I tried to hide a smirk but failed miserably.

"You know I'm going to get you back for this, right?"

I widened my eyes, which made him snicker.

"Seriously? But I'm not good at pranks, it took me a whole week to think up the thumb tacks!"

"I'm not good at pranks either, but that's not how I'll be getting you back."

What?

"Are you goin' to hurt me or somethin'?"

Dominic just smiled at me, which freaked me out.

"No, I won't hurt you. I might just up my ante in bugging you since it clearly gets to you."

Oh, my God!

"I'll stab you in the eye with a pen if you annoy me more than you already do, I swear I will!" I warned him.

Dominic smirked. "I'm not worried, pretty girl, I think I can hold my own against you."

Fuck, he was right. He was bigger than me and clearly stronger. I didn't stand much of a chance against him if I were to try and hurt him, and we both knew it.

"I'll tell on you!" I warned him.

He full-on laughed then. "I like you, pretty girl."

He liked that he made me miserable, the bastard.

"Stop callin' me that!"

"Why?"

Really? Was he actually asking me that?

"Because I don't like it!"

Dominic smiled at me. "Which is exactly why I call you that. Plus it suits you."

I hated that I flushed. "Shut up!"

I turned away from him while he chuckled. "Come on, you have to know that you're pretty."

The cunt was teasing me now!

"Drop it, Dominic," I growled, my back still to him.

My breath left my body when he put his arms around my waist and stroked my sides with his thumbs. I felt his breath on my ear, and the sensation I felt caused my eyes to drift closed. I really wanted to shove him away from me, but I just couldn't move. I felt like I was stuck.

"I don't think you know just how pretty you are, Bronagh," Dominic purred in my ear. "You're different from every other girl in this school. You aren't in the same league as them. You're in one of your own."

I snapped my eyes open.

This school had a lot of gorgeous girls and for him to say that I couldn't even compete in the same league with them hurt, and I didn't know why, but it did. I moved away from him as the bell rang out, and the classroom door opened. Our classmates piled out of the room, nearly all of them greeting Dominic or slapping their hand against his as they passed him by. Damien stopped by his brother and said something, making him laugh, before moving on.

I kept my eyes glued on the floor during all of this, and I kept them aimed downwards when Miss McKesson stepped out into the hallway and stood in front of us.

"I never want a repeat of what happened in my class earlier on, do you both understand me? Never! The things that came out of your mouths were disgustin', and if you ever react like that to one another or anybody again I will suspend you. Do you both understand me?"

"Yes, miss," Dominic and I replied in unison.

"I'm not goin' to ask what riled you both up so much because it's over now, and I hope you have both learned your lesson not to treat each other so badly or call each other such mean names. Do I need to give you both detention to drive me point home?" Miss McKesson asked.
