"Ten hours since your last orgasm and you're going to die of sexual frustration?"
I nod.
He pulls me into a hard, deep kiss.
Fuck.
My entire body is humming. There's only one thing in my head. Need Cam now. Need Cam now.
And I feel it from him too. He needs me; he wants me; he loves me.
He hasn't said it yet, but I know.
Maybe I should be more concerned. It's been six months since we officially deemed ourselves boyfriend and girlfriend. That's a long time to wait for those three little words.
But it's nothing compared to waiting four months to fuck him.
After that…
Six months is child's play.
Besides, I'm not waiting, really. I'm with him. Yes, he's in London most of the time, but we text every day, we talk twice a week; he stays here for a four-day weekend once a month.
And this. He's been here since I finished the school year. For an entire month, we've been tangled in his sheets (he bought an apartment in January) or exploring the city or daring each other to run further, farther.
It's true. He fucked me in the shower this morning (after we ran a five-mile race; which he just barely won), but that was ten hours ago.
Practically an eternity.
"It's definitely fatal." My fingers curl into his neck. "I'm not sure I'll make it all the way."
"You're losing your strength?"
I nod.
"I'll have to work with that." He leans down, lifts me into his arms, holds me to his chest.
I hook my arms around his neck instantly. "Are you really doing this?"
"Unless you want to admit you're full of shite."
"I would never."
"Uh-huh." He carries me down the street.
I hold him tightly the entire walk. It's Friday night. The Financial District is quiet. Mostly drinkers breaking from hotel bars to smoke or business people leaving work late.
But every single person we pass looks at us like we're crazy.
We are.
Love does that to you. It makes you crazy.
I expect him to release me when we move into his building, but he doesn't. He carries me into the elevator, turns so I'm facing the buttons.
"Hit my floor, sweetness," he says.
"You can set me down."
"No. You're going to need that strength."
Mmm. Yes. I free one of my hands long enough to tap the penthouse button. Then I look up at him. "Hey."
"Hey."
I curl my fingers into the back of his head, pull him into a soft, slow kiss.
My lips part.
His tongue slides into my mouth.
The elevator dings.
I nearly jump out of his arms, but he holds me tightly as me moves down the hallway. He even asks me to unlock the door.
When I do, he kicks it open, carries me into the big, airy room.
The red couch is the same. The clean hardwood is the same. The oak dining table is the same.
But the balloons are new.
Big, gold letters spelling I love you, Sienna.
I'm glad I'm in his arms, because I'm pretty sure I've lost the use of my limbs.
He carries me all the way to the couch. Lays me on the supple red leather.
I need to touch him.
I need to fuck him.
I need to kiss him.
Did I mention I need to fuck him?
"Cam…" Words refuse to form on my lips. There's too much I want to say. I love him, I want him, I need him.
He smiles, sits next to me, pulls me into his lap. "I do, Sienna." He cups my cheek with his palm. "I love you."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
He pulls me into a slow, deep kiss. "I have, for a long time."
"I know."
"I wish I could have said it sooner."
"I know, but this is—" My fingers curl into his neck. "It will be perfect after you fuck me."
He smiles.
Oh god, I know that smile. That's Sienna is adorable and I'm going to savor that instead of fucking her this instant. "What? What's funny?"
"I love you so fucking much, Sienna."
"Yes, yes, you love me. Sex now. Talk later."
He laughs.
"No, no, no laughing. Fucking."
"Stop making me laugh then."
"I'm not trying."
"That's what makes it funny."
"I hate you."
"Sex soon," he says.
"Yeah?" My voice perks.
He chuckles. "This first." He motions to a gift on the coffee table. A tiny white box wrapped in gold ribbon.
When did he put that there?
"Are you waiting to open a present?" he teases.
"I have to move off your lap to reach it."
"You can come back to it."
"But I don't want to leave it."
Again, he laughs.
This time, I don't mind so much. Well, I never mind. It's kind of sweet, how much he enjoys my quirkiness. And I love his laugh. It lights up the room.
Just…
I also want him to fuck me immediately.
Greedy, I know, but I'm always greedy when it comes to Cam.
I unwrap the present to find a key on a sleek gold chain. It's marked with my initials. SS. Like the key I gave him last year.
Like the key he gave me when he bought this place.
