“You want to come again?” Samson asks, slowing so we’re grinding together, creating the most delicious friction.

“I… I don’t know if I can.” I feel wrung out, drunk with pleasure.

“You can, and you will,” Samson says, pulling out of me completely.

“What are you doing?” I ask, as he settles himself back against the headboard, his right leg out straight and his left bent at the knee.

Samson crooks a finger at me. “Come sit on my dick.”

“Oh… okay.”

I move to straddle him, but he stops me. “Put your back to me and hold on to my left leg.”

Self-consciousness ripples through me as I position myself on top of him. But the second I slide down onto him, it melts away into mind-numbing pleasure.

My breathing shallows as I test the position, bracing myself against his leg as I rock my hips.

“That’s right, Stella. Use me, get yourself off, come all over me, so I can fill you the fuck up.”

Every nerve ending in my body is on fire as I undulate against him, chasing my third orgasm.

“Lean back,” he instructs me, his voice tight. “Put your hand on my chest.”

“You’re so deep,” I moan at the new angle, rotating my hips even faster while Samson’s calloused hands explore every inch of my skin he can reach.

“Touch yourself,” he demands, flexing his hips beneath me.

I press my two fingers to my clit, rubbing the sensitive bud in tight circles. “I’m gonna—” is all the warning he gets before my pussy grips him tight as I come for the third time.

“Fuck yes, Luna. Milk my dick.” Samson grips my hips and stills me as he flexes his hips up off the bed and spills himself inside of me. “One of these days, I’m gonna put a fucking baby in you.”

“I…” I don’t know how to respond to that. Is he still dirty talking or does he really want me to be the mother of his child one day?

“Hey, are you okay?” he asks, noticing the change in me immediately.

I have a million questions I want to ask him, but I can’t seem to get my mouth and my brain on the same page.

“Stella, baby, talk to me.”

On still-quaking legs, I slide off of him. “Do… do you want kids?” I finally ask.

“Why don’t we get cleaned up?” he asks, and my heart sinks. Clearly it was nothing more than bedroom talk. The thought hurts more than it probably should, but for as long as I can remember, every game of house I ever played, he was the dad.

“Sure,” I whisper, following behind him into the en suite bathroom.

I stand here silently while he turns on the shower. My heart thumps painfully in my chest as his release slides down my thighs. How are we still not on the same page?

“Come on,” he says, once the water is warm.

As soon as I step beneath the spray, the tears I was holding at bay fall, mingling with the droplets from the showerhead as they roll down my cheeks unchecked.

“Stella.” He steps up behind me. “Look at me.”

I shake my head, but he persists.

“Turn around. Now.”

Slowly, I pivot to face him, letting him see the rainstorm in my blue eyes.

“Dammit,” he mutters before scooping me into his arms. “I need you to listen to me, okay?”

I nod, keeping my eyes trained on the water circling the drain.

“Need you to look at me too.” Samson grips my chin and directs my gaze up to his. “You’re it for me. I want you to have my last name, my ring on your finger, and I damn sure want to put my baby in your belly.”

“Then why… why did you brush me off back there?”

“Stella,” he breathes my name like I’m the most precious thing in the world to him. “You’re only nineteen. The last thing I want to do is scare you away when I just got you back.”

“I’m not scared.” I soften against him. “Every future I see for myself involves you.”

“Fuck yeah, it does.” He leans down and kisses my lips. “We can have a whole baseball team’s worth of kids if you want, Luna. After you finish school and get your degree.”

I giggle, despite my earlier sadness. “Maybe not that many.”

“However many kids you want,” he vows. “You know I can’t say no to you.”

“It’s not only about me, Samson. I know you’re trying to make up for leaving, but I… I think it’s time we leave the past in the past and focus on our future—one where we do things together. Decide things together. One built on love and respect and communication and compromise.”

I reach up to cup both of his cheeks. “Does that sound good to you?”

He drags his teeth over his bottom lip before giving me his best smile. “Sounds fucking perfect.”
