Within moments our champagne flutes are empty, and another guy shows up with more.

We drink, party, and celebrate knowing that it could be a while before we get the chance to do it again. Our lives are so crazy, and with everything Dynasty has been throwing at me, I have a feeling that once tonight is over, they’re going to expect me to really take control of this organization. There are no excuses about being too young or still being in high school. All my excuses have run dry, and it’s time to truly step up and lead the organization that my family founded.

With that in mind, I finish another drink and grin back at Ember as we both realize all too quickly that tonight is going to be one hell of a messy night.

CHAPTER 14

The guys come and go, always checking in on me, and apparently, giving me this night to let loose. I don’t doubt that all of them are deathly sober. Those drinks Carver ordered when we first got here are probably still full in their hands, the ice long melted.

King shows up at my side when I climb up onto one of the many small platforms with the poles, and before I can even hook my leg around the pole and shimmy down it, I’m pulled back to the ground and shoved into the crowd, watching in disappointment as another girl quickly claims the pole and starts shaking her ass.

“Uh oh,” I grumble, coming to a sudden standstill in the middle of the dancefloor and toppling forward when King crashes into my back, only just catching me in time.

“What’s wrong?” he questions as I spin around and look up at him with fear in my eyes.

My hand shoots between my legs, tightly cupping my pussy as I feel the dread and horror starting to come over me. “I need to pee,” I tell him, the urgency thick and heavy in my tone as I squeeze my legs together. “Actually, maybe I just did. I don’t know. I think it’s going to come out. I need to go. I … I … No. No. No.”

King grabs me, throwing me over his shoulder and instantly squishing my bladder and making things so much worse. “NOOOOOO! PUT ME DOWN,” I scream. “I’m going to pee down your back.”

“You better fucking not,” he roars as he barges his way through the crowd, knocking people clear on their asses just to get me to the bathroom, or hell, the back garden, or kitchen sink—which ever one we reach first. “MOVE.”

King clears a passage through the crowd in no time, and before I know it, he’s crashing through the door of one of Ember’s many guest bathrooms. He all but throws me toward the toilet and as I’m busily trying to yank my pants down, I realize that he’s locked himself inside with me. “The fuck do you think you’re doing?” I demand, having to dance to stop myself from peeing all over the floor. “Get out.”

“What? No. Just pee,” he says, standing in front of the door as though he’s some kind of bouncer. “Babe, I’ve fucked literally every hole in your body. I’m not going to be offended by a little bit of piss. Just do your thing so I can fuck you after.”

My jaw clenches and my ability to squeeze my legs any tighter begins to fail. “OUT NOW BEFORE I BUST YOUR ASS WIDE OPEN, HUNTER KING. There are some things a girl just shouldn’t have to share. If it’s pee this week, what’s next? Are you going to demand that I shit glitter in front of you? FUCK NO! OUT BEFORE IT STARTS RUNNING DOWN MY LEG.”

King groans and rolls his eyes before scrunching up his face like a kid about to have a tantum. “Fine,” he snaps, grabbing the door handle and pulling it open, “but I’m not leaving this door.”

He slips out a second later and I can’t even wait until it’s closed properly before dropping my ass down on the seat and letting sweet, sweet relief overcome me.

My eyes close and I tip my head back, instantly getting dizzy as I start to regret the last three shots that Ember and I so eagerly took when the boys weren’t watching.

I laugh to myself and just sit there, despite having finished peeing long ago. I could do with a little nap. The darkness behind my eyes is welcoming and my body is exhausted from the constant dancing. Not to mention my feet—they’re aching. Usually I’m good at parties like this from all my days walking around in my thigh high boots, but Ember and I went hard in a way that neither of us were expecting.

My head continues to spin but when I hear the loud thumping on the door from the bitches demanding that I hurry up, I decide it’s probably best to get back to the party. I clean myself up and confirm that I didn’t actually piss my pants earlier, but as I stand, my head spins more violently and the nausea begins to creep in.
