“Never enough.” I growl to myself as we both fall over the edge, knowing my dick will never be satisfied.

Before her last moans are out of her mouth, I’ve got her pliant body in my hands, dropping my back onto the bed and mounting her on her new throne.

“My queen,” I announce, her limp body struggling upright as I fill her from below.

“My king.”

I never thought this would be me. Pussy-whipped and dreaming of a lifetime of kissing and fucking and being called Daddy.

Both by my sweet babygirl, but also by the babies she’s going to give me.

The things I never knew I wanted are the things I know I now can’t live without.

Erik

The sun is starting to dip below the horizon as I pull my truck around the bend, kicking up dirt in my wake as I gun the engine. This place used to be a scrapyard when I was a kid, then Buffalino’s father purchased the land, intending to make it into Detroit’s answer to the Las Vegas Strip. Suffice to say, that never happened. Partly because Buffalino’s father took a bullet to the temple, and partly because the location was all wrong.

I don’t give a shit about any of that history. The guy can burn the place to the ground for all I care. But it does mean that it’s set back from the nearest road, accessible only via this winding dirt track, and perfect for conducting clandestine business.

Or ending the life of some scumbag. We’ll have to see.

The three of them are standing there beside what used to be the cabin that passed for the scrapyard’s office. It’s now a few planks of wood and a severely-sagging roof. Time takes its toll.

Jackson’s voice comes through the car’s Bluetooth. “So anyway, the project has to be on hold. I’ve got too many balls in the air.”

“I get it,” I tell him. “Not a problem. You sure there’s nothing else? You seem kind of stressed.”

“No, it’s just… there’s this girl. But she’s not who I thought she was. Jesus, you ever have a feeling your world has just been turned upside down?”

I grunt an acknowledgment. “Until recently, I’d have asked what the fuck you’re talking about, but not anymore.”

As I pull to a stop, Buffalino puts on his best grin, and my mood darkens another shade.

“Gonna have to go,” I tell Jackson. “There’s some business I need to take care of.”

“Sure, man. Thanks for holding off on the project. I’ll put more work your way, you have my word.”

“Sure thing,” I say, and click off, then step out of the truck with my fists clenched.

Is that the same smile Buffalino showed my little Tootsie Pop before he had his guys rough her up?

He’s a bottom feeder. But he’s also one of the best-connected gangsters in the city. I want to kill him for even looking at her, but if I do, I won’t be around to take care of Andrea. That’s unacceptable, so I’m going to have to use my words instead.

“Erik! Gotta say, I was surprised you asked to meet. You don’t mind that I brought the boys with me, do you?”

I shake my head. “Not at all. I expected it.”

“So, to what do I owe this pleasure?”

“We need to talk. About the house downtown.”

“What about it? All the paperwork is correct, we have the go ahead. I’m surprised it hasn’t come down yet.” He shrugs. “You here to squeeze me for more money?”

“No.” I growl, trying to hold my temper together as he speaks so calmly. Every fiber of my being is telling me to grab him by the collar, rip his balls off and choke him with them. “That house isn’t coming down.”

His eyebrows go up. “Excuse me?”

“I’m moving it. You’ll get the land, but it’s going to take a little longer. I’m having it taken apart piece by piece and reassembled in a new location.”

He blinks, once, twice. “What the fuck, Erik? Why would you do that? Do you know how much money I’m losing every day that project—”

“Listen, you little shithead,” I growl, taking a step forward. As I do, his two goons make a move too, though from the looks on their faces they’d rather not confront me. Very fucking sensible. I pull myself back, getting my temper back under control with a Herculean effort. “I’m trying very fucking hard to be respectful here,” I tell Buffalino.

“And failing,” he says, shaking his head. Then he pinches the bridge of his nose, blowing out a slow breath. “Fine. Look, we go way back, and I don’t want to fall out over this, not when you’re an investor in my casino and there’s going to be a lot more business between us in the future. Here’s what I’m going to do. I’m not going to ask why that house has to be moved, that’s your business. But for every day that site isn’t accessible to my construction crews, I’m going to charge you a million dollars. That might almost make up for the delay.”
