“Let me tell you. You feel like a good girl. You feel like you shouldn’t like what we did, but you do. You want me to be happy. You want to be the one that makes me happy. Tell me I’m wrong about any of that.”

I shake my head as the thumping of his heart ticks against my cheek. He’s not wrong. Everything he said is true, but how? How does he know? And why do I feel this way with him?

“I’ve never given this part of me to anyone before you. You’ll be the only one from now on that takes care of Daddy, and I’ll always be the one that takes care of you.” He pauses, kissing the back of my head. “I love you, baby. I loved you the first moment I saw you.”

I turn my head into his chest, feeling the scratch of his chest hair on my cheek as I look up, and he looks down.

“Say it, baby. It’s okay.” His face is wise and hard and soft and wonderful, as the words slip from my lips.

“I love you too, Daddy.”

A sigh softens his body as he pulls me so tight, I can barely breathe. “Good girl. My best girl.”

Erik’s massive body cradles me in his lap, wrapped in a soft faux-fur blanket like I’m a priceless treasure.

I shed what was left of my clothes after Erik’s mouth worked another round of magic on my newly orgasmic vagina.

He must have found some secret, hidden switch down there somewhere, because what used to be a toxic battle trying to get my body to give me the big ‘O’ everyone always talked about, has become a peaceful easy road to multiple rolling, screaming, toe-curling orgasms.

Erik could tell I’d had enough after my eyes rolled back, and my body went limp. In my heart, I wanted to keep going. I wanted to feel him pushing inside me, but he was right. I was spent, and he said he wanted me fully present when he claimed me in that way.

“You’re not cold anymore?” He rumbles into the side of my head as I stare out the window at the skyline. The warm light of a fall afternoon reflects off the orange windows of the Renaissance Center, casting the nearly all-white living room of his penthouse in a pumpkin-patch glow. “Your tummy is full?”

“Yes.” I sigh. “You are a doting daddy.”

A smile plays at the corners of his mouth, his rich beard shifting with the movement of his lips.

“I love how you say that,” he rumbles with a twinkle in his eyes. “I love watching your lips say it, too.”

I giggle a bit, sitting up as he leans back into the sofa, moving his arms to rest wide on the back like he’s admiring a work of art instead of a poor girl who bartered her body in exchange for his help.

“I love some things about your lips as well.” As I say it, I realize how much I’d like his mouth between my legs again. I’m addicted to the pleasure he gives me already.

“You are the best kind of distraction,” he says. “I’ve never not checked on work this long before, unless I was sleeping. They might send a crew over to check on me.”

I run my hands down the wide planes of his chest, the course hair slipping between my fingers.

“I like that you like your work. I hope I can have something I like to do someday.”

He tips his head, a quizzical look in his rich, coffee-colored eyes. “What is it you want to do, Tootsie? Say the word, I’ll make it happen.”

I shrug, shaking my head. “It’s not that easy. What I want to do, or what I always wanted to do, you can’t just buy your way in. You have to be a certain way. Look a certain way.”

He reaches out and turns my face his way. “What do you want to do? Tell me.”

“Don’t laugh.”

“Andrea, I will never laugh at your dreams. I am your safe space in every way. Nothing is off limits. Everything you want, feel, need… I want to know.”

Something about how he says it makes me feel safe and wanted, and I pour out all my girlish dreams of fancy dresses and runways and fashion shoots. He listens in intent silence until I run out of words and breath.

His hand moves down the fur blanket until he’s gripping the side of my ass. “You will be a supermodel then. I’m not all that enthused about sharing what’s mine with the world, but if that’s what my girl wants, that’s what she gets, on one condition.”

I tip my head. “Okay, what?”

“I’m with you at every show, makeup session, runway, backstage, studio… You will never be alone with anyone. We clear?” His lightness dims, a seriousness in his eyes that makes me nod.
