I had never been so happy in my life as I was in that very moment.

Miles

I COULDN’T KEEP my eyes off of my wife.

My wife.

God, I love how that sounds.

Lifting a beer up to my lips, I watched Kynslee work the room like she was made to play the role of bride. My two Marine Corps buddies were off doing who knows what with who knows who. Lana and her husband Bob had called it a night not too long ago and headed home to Wanda. My mother had been talking to Tony Costa, who owned the local auto repair shop, for the last hour. That was interesting. I wanted my mother to move on and find love again. So far it hadn’t happened, but the way Tony was looking at her and she was looking at him, I’d bet the farm they would be going on a date soon.

Kynslee’s eyes found mine, and she smiled. The way the light caught the little diamonds in her hair made it look like she had a halo over her head. She truly seemed like an angel. My heart stalled in my chest for a moment, and I had to remind myself to breathe.

She said goodbye to the person she was talking to and made her way over to me. The moment she stopped in front of me, I took her by the waist and pulled her to me.

“I missed you.”

“I haven’t been gone ten minutes.”

I shook my head. “It felt like forever. When can we leave?”

She laughed.

“I’m being serious, Kyns. We did the whole cake cutting thing. We did our dance. We mingled. I’m ready to get under that dress and put my mouth on your—”

Kynslee’s eyes widened and she covered my mouth with her hand. “Miles Warner!”

I held up my hands, one still holding my beer. “Fine. I’ll be good. But I’m not sure I can last much longer. Not when I want to peel that dress off your body and make love to you as my wife. That is, after I give you an orgasm with my mouth.”

“Let me go find my parents and let them know we’re ready to leave.”

I laughed. “That’s more like it.”

I kicked open the door of the hotel suite and walked into our room. Kynslee laughed as I carried her in. We both looked around the suite at the same time.

“Wow. This is amazing, Miles.”

Letting her down, I walked over and picked up the phone. “Yes, this is Miles Warner in room 2025, will you please send up a bottle of champagne? Thank you.”

“Miles, we have a private balcony that overlooks the Riverwalk.”

I walked over and wrapped my arms around Kynslee. The night before, we had spent our wedding night in the cabin on the farm. It had taken everything I had not to rip her wedding dress off and instead take my time slowly peeling her out of it. There were so many things I wanted to do to her, but in the end, we were both exhausted. We undressed each other, I did what I promised and made her come with my mouth, then we made love. And fell asleep the moment I pulled out of her. At least it felt like that. We cleaned up, crawled back into bed and within minutes, we were both out.

Not wanting to spend our honeymoon on my family farm or just down the path from her parents’, I rented a hotel suite in San Antonio. Our real honeymoon would be planned at a later date when we had more time to think about where we wanted to go. I wanted Kynslee to pick. I’d traveled all over the world, but the farthest she had been was Orlando, Florida, so really, the world was her oyster.

“Are you happy, Mrs. Warner?”

She leaned against my chest and let out a sigh of contentment. “I’m very happy, Mr. Warner.”

“We have this giant suite all to ourselves. I think we need to make the most of it.”

Turning in my arms, Kynslee looked up at me. “Where should we have hot sex first?”

I smiled. “The bed. I’m tired of taking you in a barn like an animal.”

“You didn’t last night.”

“Yeah, but I almost did only minutes after we got married. I’m working on my self-control.”

Kynslee made a clucking sound with her tongue. “Now is not the time to work on that, Miles.”

I lifted a brow. “Really?”

“Really.”

Lifting her up, I carried her into the bedroom off of the living room. Tossing her onto the bed, I reached behind my back and pulled my shirt over my head. Kynslee chewed on her lip and watched me as I stripped down to nothing.

“You have such an amazing body. I could stare at it all day.”

Her eyes moved down to my dick. He jumped at the appreciative look Kynslee was throwing him.
