“His betrayal hits the hardest,” Carver finishes for me. I nod and he goes on. “So, how come you were so quick to forgive me?”

A loud, howling laugh tears out of me. “Oh, that’s cute. You think you’ve been forgiven because I allowed you to fuck me into oblivion? Not even close, Carver. You just caught me at a time of weakness and happened to have the right equipment and skillset to make me forget about the world around me.”

An offended gasp tears out of him and I hesitantly glance his way. “I … I don’t know what to say,” he baffles. “I feel so used.”

“Oh, yeah?” I grin, stretching across the center console and palming his dick through his sweatpants, loving the way he comes alive under my touch. I release my seatbelt and climb across until I’m straddled in his lap, his engorged cock pressing up against my pussy as he continues to drive. “Just you wait and see my next party trick.”

And without giving him a second to wipe the shock off his face, I reach down between us and free his cock before settling myself over him and riding him the whole way back to Ravenwood Heights.

“No fucking way,” I grumble, looking on in disgust as Carver smirks beside me, the smugness pouring out of him in waves, pleased to be able to disgust me so badly. I mean, after everything we’ve all been through, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to me, but damn it, it just caught me off guard and now I’m contemplating reaching over to Carver’s side again, only this time, to hurl in his damn lap.

“I swear,” he laughs. “You know that I make it my mission to have dirt on each of these bastards, and this … this is what I got on him.”

“But … that’s fucking gross. Everyone else has fraud or drug smuggling buried in their closet, but this? I’ll never be able to look at him the same again. Are you sure there wasn’t a different secret you could exploit to make this happen? I really could have gone without knowing about this.”

Carver shrugs his shoulders. “I mean, there probably is, but this is definitely the easiest way to get us back through the gates undetected.”

“Are you one hundred percent sure?”

Carver nods and looks down at his watch. “He should be pulling up right about now,” he says just as an expensive black sedan pulls into the empty lot across the road. Carver grins wide, his pride knowing no bounds. “Like fucking clockwork,” he tells me. “Brooks has a standing appointment with Missy, who used to be Michael, 10 am every second Wednesday for the past six years, and my research tells me that Missy specializes in weird baby kinks.”

My eyes bug out of my head. “Baby kinks? What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Is Brooks into child fucking?”

“No,” Carver laughs. “Baby kinks like … he’ll dress up as one, diaper and all, and that’s about as far as my research went before I had to bail.”

“So, this Missy … does she like … change his diaper, tell him he’s been a very naughty boy and then fuck him while he drinks a warm bottle of milk?”

“I …” Carver cuts himself off and shakes his head. “I’m trying really hard not to think about what else goes down in there and you’re making it really difficult.”

I can’t help but laugh, imagining all the possibilities while knowing that I could never take Earnest Brooks seriously again. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one to kink shame. Choke, spank, spit, and whip; I’m down with it all. To each their own, but pissing in a diaper and having some poor prostitute clean up after you is where I draw the line. Though, I bet she gets paid a shitload to act out his strange fantasies. It makes a girl wonder just how much money we’re talking about here.

We watch as Earnest pushes his way out of his fancy black sedan and cautiously looks around, though today, he’s clearly not cautious enough as his gaze sweeps straight past our stolen SUV and he starts sauntering toward the building that looks suspiciously like a Chinese restaurant.

“Wait here,” Carver says. “I’ll be back in ten. When you see me come out, we run.”

“What?” I rush out, hating that he’s taking the lead on this when only a few nights ago, I promised myself that wasn’t going to happen again, that I was going to be the leader of my own fate from here on out. “No. I’m going in.”

Carver’s eyes bug out of his head. “You can’t go. You’re supposed to be in hiding, remember? Besides, if you walk into that place, you’ll be confused as a prostitute, and knowing your luck, you’ll probably end up covering for Missy. But if I go in, I just look like a curious customer having a look at the merchandise.”
