Cruz pulls back and rests his forehead against mine. “I fucking love you, Winter. You’re my whole fucking world and while I know it’s hard for you to hear that right now, just know that I’m not going anywhere. I will wait as long as it fucking takes to get you right back where I had you.”
My eyes close with his sweet, overwhelming words and I let out a soft breath. “I’m counting on it.”
His lips drop back to mine and I soak up every second of this perfect moment with him, knowing that it’ll be short-lived, and like clockwork, a throat clears by my closet door and I glare at Grayson for ruining it. “I’d hate to break up the party, but we’re leaving in like six fucking minutes and Ellie is still half-naked, not that I’m complaining.”
I roll my eyes and Cruz looks back at Grayson. “Then help me get this dress on her. It’s fucking impossible.”
Grayson scoffs as though he holds all the secrets of the universe and strides into my closet, studying the dress as though it’s a challenge set out just to fuck with his head. His finger and thumb rub over his lips as he gets lost in deep thought. “Alright,” he finally says. “We pull out from all sides and then yank it down.”
Cruz nods and the boys get into place, one on either side just as Carver and King show up in the doorway, stupid amused smirks on their faces as they watch my humiliation. Cruz and Grayson meet each other’s gaze and with a nod, they get to work.
They each grab a handful of latex and just as planned, stretch it out before yanking it down into place. “Ahhhh, fuck,” I screech as the underwired cups sit awkwardly over my tits, squishing them half to death. “My titties.”
My hands dive into the front of the skin-tight dress, readjusting the goodies until they sit comfortably in the cups, and damn, does it do them justice. My tits are pushed up, plump, and fucking ripe for the taking. They look like they’ve been hand-delivered to my chest by the devil himself. In fact, the whole fucking dress looks like it came from the darkest pits of hell.
I match it with my black thigh-high boots—a new pair, seeing as though my other ones were destroyed from running through the woods for two fucking days. I spritz a bit of perfume, one that King gave to me just to drive him wild with need, and put my hair into a high, slicked-back ponytail. I could go the extra length by adding the matching latex gloves that came with the dress, but that just screams Halloween BDSM whore, and that’s not quite the look I’m going for today … close, but not quite.
I excuse myself to race into the bathroom to pee, brush my teeth, and find my favorite dark red lipstick, and in hindsight, I probably should have peed before getting into this dress, but it’s too late now.
I make my way downstairs to find the four boys waiting for me at the bottom in the most jaw-dropping suits that I’ve ever seen and I realize that this is becoming a little tradition of ours. Their eyes all pulse with a million different emotions, but pride and hunger are shining the brightest. They look like the best kind of meal.
I wonder if we should skip this whole thing and I can slowly undress them instead.
I shake off the thought, knowing just how bad of an idea that really is. “Alright,” I say, hitting the bottom step as Grayson moves into my side and takes my arm. “Let’s go to my funeral.”
CHAPTER 13
The dress is way too tight to even attempt letting the boys squish me into the trunk again, so I sit up front with my head down as Grayson drives through the streets of Ravenwood Heights. Nerves filter through me. I haven’t exactly prepared a speech for this or have any experience with rising from the dead, but I’m assuming it’s going to be a little something like ‘Hey, joke’s on you, I’m not dead. Let’s go get fucked up back at my place!’
Actually, with Paris still haunting our town, maybe a party at my place isn’t such a great idea, but it’s the thought that counts.
Grayson slows the car and I raise my head to see the same cathedral where we said our final goodbye to Tobias King and a smugness settles through me. Tobias’ funeral was fucking awesome. It was the royal treatment and seeing as though mine is being held here too, I guess that means they’re going all out for me.
It’s a shock to see how many people have come to say goodbye to me as the crowd of darkly dressed figures all cram through the cathedral doors. I haven’t exactly been the nicest person in my short eighteen years, so I suspect that quite a few of these guests are here out of duty instead of grief.
