My core tightens at the roughness of his voice. With Polina back on deck, Matvei has demanded every day on my planner for the next several weeks. He won’t tell me where we’re going or what climate I need to pack for. He is adamant all I need to do is turn up, and he will take care of the rest.

As Matvei thrusts his cock upward, I slide my hand into his boxers to fondle his balls before slithering my tongue over the slit at the top. A dense and thick blob of pre-cum shows his level of excitement while getting me off.

The control he showed this morning was mammoth. I love how he doesn’t let go of the reins until my needs are addressed. He always puts my needs first, and this knowledge has me sucking him down hard, fucking him with my mouth as he did to me on the breakfast counter.

“That’s it… Just like that… So good, Natalya.”

Over and over, he plunges in and out of my mouth until signs of his release are present and I’ve taken him to the very back of my throat.

“I’m going to come. My wife is making me come.”

As he grunts my name, hot spurts of cum erupt from his cock. They flood my tongue before sliding down my throat to settle in my stomach.

Matvei’s cock is still pulsating in my mouth when he wrenches me off and says in a surly tone, “Put your belt back on.”

The curtness of his snapped command would usually wet my panties, but it feels off today. I love his gruffness, but only when it is part of his naturally engrained dominance.

It isn’t today.

“What is it?” I ask while latching my seat belt into place.

When he fails to answer me, his eyes locked with the rearview mirror, I crank my neck back. A dark van is tailing us. It doesn’t have any plates.

“It’s probably idiots still riding the high of the weekend.”

Matvei owns a lot of the forest that borders our home, but segments are still untitled. They provide the perfect cloak for underage drinkers and hoons confident Kronstadt PD won’t come out this far for a disturbance call.

“Take Krosher. If they’re heading back to town, they’ll stay on this road.”

My stomach gurgles when the van follows Matvei’s unexpected veer down Krosher Avenue. If it isn’t bad enough we have a possible tail, there are now two vans in the fleet.

“Jesus, Matvei, they could still be kids,” I murmur when he removes his gun and rests it on his thigh.

“Scoot down low,” he pleads before lowering his speed, his tone furious.

The speedometer barely grazes twenty, so the vans should race past us. However, they don’t. They remain three car lengths back with their engines running and the early morning sun reflecting off the windshield so we can’t see the drivers’ faces.

I sling my eyes back to the front when Maksim’s name pops up on the dashboard of Matvei’s sports car. He answers two rings later.

“We’re being followed,” Matvei announces, not bothering to issue a greeting.

“Easton announced an increase in radio frequencies this morning. How many?”

My heart whacks my ribs when Matvei answers, “At least eight individuals. Two vans in total.”

“Fuck.” Maksim waits for a beat before murmuring, “I warned you this would happen.”

“That’s why I asked you not to release the footage yet. I needed time to prepare my defense.”

“I haven’t released shit,” Maksim bites back. “But we don’t have time for another lesson on how fucking stupid you are. Not if you want to go on that fancy honeymoon you’re planning.” Big stomps chop up his words. I realize he’s running when the creak of a door popping open sounds down the line before heavy metal music gobbles it up. Easton is their head of surveillance. He’s a metalhead but has a heart of gold. “Bring up satellite images for Matvei’s location.”

It feels like minutes pass before Maksim’s focus returns to his cell. “You can’t go back to the compound. They’ve got every entry point covered.”

“They?” I ask, my curiosity too high to leash for a second longer.

Maksim doesn’t answer me, but his tone dips when he warns, “You can bring her here, but don’t expect Mom to be too accommodating. She’s starting to piece the puzzle together, so it won’t be long until the truth is exposed.”

I grimace. I knew Irina wouldn’t be pleased about the swiftness of our relationship, but Maksim makes it sound like she loathes every fiber of my being.

“Bring an army if you’re coming.” The voice is different. It matches Easton’s southern twang. “We’re not sitting any better than the compound. They’ve hidden their tracks well, but Henry needs more bilingual crew members.”

“Who is Henry?” I don’t know the given names of Bastian’s sons, but Henry doesn’t seem like a good match for a surname like Fernandez.
