"Please, harder, faster," I gasp, my body craving release from his touch.

"I can't get enough of you," he growls, one arm wrapped around me while his other hand works its magic on my clit. I cry out as waves of pleasure wash over me, my body going limp against him. He supports my weight as we both reach our climax, his movements slowing before coming to a stop. We collapse onto the chair together, his arms and hands caressing my skin.

"Nothing beats holding you after making love to you like an animal," he whispers into my ear before gently pulling out of me. He carries me to the small bathtub and starts running hot water for us to soak in.

"I'll make dinner while you relax," he tells me with a loving smile before leaving me to soak in blissful contentment. I’ve never been so thoroughly worked over, and I’m deliciously glad for it. Marcus owns me now. In every single way. Whether I like it or not, he’s taken me to places I never imagined, and I’ve loved every second.

“I don’t think I can eat after that,” I say with a gulp as he settles me into the hot water, dropping in a fizzing bath bomb.

“I’ll feed you,” he replies, kissing my lips, his hands caressing my skin and easing away any lingering soreness. “Watching you eat is the hottest fucking thing I’ve ever seen, and I want you to do it as much as possible. I want you healthy and ready to have my baby.” His palms glide over my hips, pulling me closer with slow, deliberate movements. “And then I plan to eat you as much as possible. I hope you’re ready.”

I bite my lower lip, unable to suppress the broad smile stretching across my face. “I think I was born ready to be yours.”

He grins, tapping my lips lightly before rubbing them with a reverence that sends warmth through me. “I know you were.”

Chapter Eleven

Marcus

The main stage is vibrant with lights and decorations a few nights later, the air thick with the lingering energy of the audience’s applause. Clara and I stand to the side, our hands intertwined, feeling the weight of the moment. The final act concludes, the performers taking their bows as the crowd roars with approval.

Dante steps forward, his presence commanding immediate attention. He raises his hands, calling for silence. The performers and audience turn their focus to him, anticipation buzzing in the air. “Ladies and gentlemen,” Dante begins, his voice booming with pride, “tonight, we witnessed a performance unlike any other. The chemistry and talent displayed by Clara and Marcus have set a new standard for our circus. Theirs is a new act, one they’ve only been performing for a few nights, they were incredible, right?”

He gestures towards us, and the crowd erupts into applause once again, their excitement almost tangible. Clara squeezes my hand, drawing strength from my steady presence. I glance at her, seeing the mix of pride, excitement, and a hint of nervousness in her eyes.

Dante continues, his voice filled with genuine admiration. “It is with great honor that I declare Clara and Marcus our new starring act. Their unique bond and profound impact on all of us are undeniable.”

The applause swells, a wave of sound that crashes over us. I feel a rush of emotions, the reality of our achievement sinking in. We’ve worked so hard for this, and now, we’re being recognized in the most public way possible. Clara’s eyes shine with unshed tears, and I give her hand another reassuring squeeze.

As Dante wraps up his speech, the performers begin to filter off the stage, the celebration already beginning. The circus grounds are alive with activity, performers and crew members congratulating us, their praise heartfelt and enthusiastic. The energy is infectious, but I can see Clara still reeling from the intensity of the experience.

Clara finds a quiet corner backstage, needing a moment to catch her breath. I follow her, my eyes filled with concern and love. I gently take her hands, pulling her close. “Clara, you were incredible tonight. Like every night,” I say, my voice soft but firm. “I know this is a lot to take in, but you need to know how amazing you are.”

She looks up at me, her eyes filled with uncertainty and lingering nerves. “It’s just… so overwhelming. I never imagined we’d come this far.”

I brush a strand of hair from her face, my touch gentle and reassuring. “You will always be the starring act of my life, Clara. No matter what happens on that stage, you’re my partner in everything.”

My words wrap around her like a warm embrace, hopefully calming the storm inside her. She nods, a small smile breaking through her anxiety. “Thank you, Marcus. I needed to hear that.”

We stand there for a moment, the noise of the celebration a distant hum. Our connection feels stronger than ever, a silent understanding passing between us. The intensity of the night, the recognition, and our emotions create a heady mix, but in this moment, it’s just us.
