He didn’t see the Fox but he had to be close. So he hit the remote. Lights and noise filled the room and he stood, nerf gun at the ready. Only to get shot in the chest immediately.
What the hell?
He stared down in shock as the Fox rose from the rear seats.
Shit. He’d already been in here.
And he’d guessed what he was going to do.
“I think that means you’re dead, boy,” the Fox said, moving closer.
“Hi, Papa! Have a good day at work?”
“Can’t say I did, but coming home to this has been a lot of fun. You were sneaky, boy.”
“Had to even the odds a bit.” He pouted. “Can’t believe I got killed so quickly.”
“You did well to get one shot to land, Pup. I think that deserves a reward.”
“It does, Papa?”
“Yep, definitely.” The look in the other man’s eyes got heated.
“Your prize is upstairs.”
“Is she? Well, I think I deserve more than one prize. Now, put the gun down and your hands in the air.”
Brody’s heart raced. This was . . . beyond what he’d thought.
He figured he’d have fun. But he hadn’t thought to find it so arousing.
He didn’t know what came over him. Or why he did it. But his hand moved before he even thought about it. The bullet fired from the gun, and the Fox’s eyes widened as the dart landed on his chest.
There was a moment where they both stood there, staring at each other in disbelief. Then something primal filled the Fox’s face.
“Run.”
With a squeak that he’d later probably be embarrassed about, Brody took off in a rush. The Fox turned to watch him but didn’t make a move.
This wasn’t how he’d expected this to end. Oh, he thought he would lose, although he’d hoped to have lasted longer than he did. After he’d been caught, he figured he’d lead the Fox to where Autumn waited in her snuggly area upstairs.
Instead, he was being chased.
And this time, things weren’t going to end quite so cleanly.
Nope. Shit was about to get messy.
“Brody,” the Fox sang out. “Get ready, I’m coming for you.”
Adrenaline surged inside him as he ran upstairs. But he was tackled at the top of the stairs. Before he could slam to the floor, he was turned, landing on top of the Fox’s body. He stared down at the other man in shock.
“Hello, naughty boy. Didn’t get far, did we?”
A whimper escaped him. But not one of fear. Nope, he wanted the promise he could see in the other man’s eyes.
“Oh, someone likes this, don’t they?” the Fox murmured.
No doubt he could feel the raging hard-on Brody was sporting. He was rolled without warning onto his stomach and the Fox drew his hands behind him, securing them together.
Hell.
He’d forgotten the other man was always prepared. He was the Scout leader of the assassins. Ready for any eventuality, including tying up his boy after a surprise dart war.
Trouble. He was in such trouble.
The Fox straddled his hips. His poor cock was trapped between him and the hard floor.
“Look at you,” the Fox whispered, leaning forward to rest his hands on the floor on either side of him. “All tied up and ready to be taken. Too bad for you that you were so naughty. And now you must be punished.”
Oh, hell.
The Fox moved back and reached for the top of his sweatpants and boxers, drawing them down over his ass. He clenched his cheeks together.
The Fox grabbed one cheek, squeezing it. “Such a gorgeous, sexy ass. It’s going to look even better when it’s pink. Maybe I should keep it permanently that way. Perhaps then, you’ll behave yourself.
Fuck. Him.
Smack! Smack!
He moaned. His legs were trapped between the Fox’s as he spanked his ass, making it heat.
He tried to wiggle, to throw the other man off him. But he barely even budged him.
“Uh-uh, Pup. That’s naughty. I’m not going anywhere until you’ve been properly punished for breaking the rules.”
“All’s fair in love and war,” he said breathlessly.
The Fox seemed to tense. Had he said something wrong?
Then he covered Brody with his body, pressing into him. Something switched inside him. All the fight drained out of him and he just wanted to submit. He couldn’t take this for long, not with his arms in the position they were.
But he liked this.
“Love and war?” the Fox whispered. “And which is this?”
Brody licked his dry lips. “Both?”
“You don’t sound so sure. You love me.”
“I do. I love you.” He’d said it before, but he guessed the other man wanted to hear it again.
The other man nipped his ear, making him yelp. “Good boy.”
He wasn’t sure if the Fox would ever say it back. Brody and Autumn had talked about this, they didn’t expect that he would. The Fox didn’t deal with emotion or talk about this stuff. But he showed them how he felt through his actions.
