“Because I already have one bottom that needs a spanking, but I’m happy to deal with two.”
“I’m good. I just . . .” Brody eyed Autumn worriedly.
“I won’t do anything to upset our girl. And she always has her safeword, don’t you, baby girl?”
“I’m fine, Brody-bear. The Fox isn’t upsetting me. Not sure why he’s talking about spanking me, though.”
“You didn’t eat breakfast or lunch.”
“Oh.”
“And you’re wearing this horrid sweatsuit. I’m going to burn them all.”
“Hey! Mean!”
“I’m going to change your clothes. You can say your safeword at any time if you’re uncomfortable or scared. But Daddy is in charge right now and it won’t get you out of your punishment.”
“Yes, Daddy.”
“Come here.” He took hold of her hand and led her to the changing table. He eyed her to see if she was about to object. But she didn’t say anything as he lifted her and laid her out. He took care of her top first, leaving her bra on to make sure she felt more comfortable.
Then he drew off the pants, throwing them away. He didn’t slow down when it came to taking off her panties. He figured it was better to act matter-of-fact about it all. He drew her ruffly panties up her legs.
Damn. They were adorable. Then he slid on her socks before drawing her off the changing table and onto her feet to help her with her skirt and t-shirt.
“There. That’s better. I need to do your hair, though. Come.”
Autumn felt kind of dazed as she sat on the floor and let the Fox do her hair. He had brushed out the tangles and was now braiding it.
He’d used the changing table. And fully dressed her. Somehow, she hadn’t been embarrassed, only a little nervous. But it had helped put her further into Little headspace.
“Daddy, can I go play?” she asked, squirming.
“No, sit still.”
She groaned. Brody was watching her, his eyes twinkling behind his glasses. What had he spilled on his shirt this time? Orange juice?
“You know, I think Brody-bear needs a haircut. Can I give him one?”
“No!” both men said at the same time.
Huh. Mean.
“Why not?”
“No going near sharp objects,” the Fox told her.
“That was just knives.”
“It includes scissors too.”
“Especially near my hair. I was thinking of growing it long anyway,” Brody told her.
“We have some business to attend to.”
He helped her onto her feet, and she checked herself out in the mirror. Oh, she looked cute. Her hair was now in two long braids, and the outfit really suited her.
“What business? Assassin business? Are we gonna help? Brody knows lots because he’s watched all of Criminal Minds.”
“Not assassin business. And you are never going to help with that. Either of you,” he said firmly.
“Aww, why not, Daddy? I’d be good at it. I’m excellent at hide and seek. And look at my moves.” She spun, doing some karate kicks, only she managed to hit the lamp by her bed, knocking it onto the floor where it smashed.
“Oh no! Oh, I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to! I’m such a fucking klutz.”
“Stop,” the Fox barked at her as she kneeled to start picking up the pieces.
She froze. Was he really upset with her?
“You’re going to cut yourself, baby,” he told her gently. He picked her up, putting her on the bed. “Brody, get up on the bed with her. Both of you stay there while I clean this up.”
“But I should do that!” She was itching to take care of the mess.
“No,” he said firmly. “You can’t touch sharp things. You might cut yourself.”
“But I broke it.”
“Bunny, look at me,” he said firmly.
She glanced up at him.
“I need you to listen to me and understand, okay?”
“Okay.” She braced herself for a scolding. He wouldn’t leave. No matter what. Brody took her hand in his and she clung to him.
“It’s just a fucking lamp.”
“W-what?”
“It’s just a fucking lamp. No one died. No one is hurt. Although, you mustn’t ever try to pick up anything sharp like that again or I will smack your butt, got me?”
“I . . . I . . . okay.”
“Now, stay where you are. We have the matter of your spanking to take care of soon.”
He swept up the mess, even vacuuming up the small bits. “I want to go over this again after. But that will do for now. Come here.” He opened his arms and she jumped into them.
“You really aren’t mad?”
“Over the lamp? Fuck no. I couldn’t care less. I’ll buy you a thousand lamps. You know I have plenty of money.”
“Yeah, enough to give away millions of dollars.”
“Hmm, that might not have been my money.”
“You took it from the senator, didn’t you?” Brody asked, following them into the playroom.
“And Senior. I didn’t take any from Forrest since I was supposed to be Kit at the time and I didn’t want him to get suspicious. But yeah, I took all the senators funds and I gave it to Millie and you. Both of you deserved it.”
